For anyone who is interested, the localization has been announces by AKSYS via Nintendo Power. It's planned release is at the end of 2012. Support this series and visual novels in general by pre-ordering this title when it becomes available. Since the game was announced in Nintendo Power, it's obviously going to be released on the 3DS, but it's still unknown if the Vita will support this game.

So I just played 999 for the first time today...

SPOILER ALERT

And I got Clover's axe-happy bad ending. The worst part was that you saw it coming right beforehand and there was nothing you could do to stop it. I spent the ending stretch screaming at Junpei for being an idiot and not seeing what was happening and then rage-chucking my 3DS several times as the situation continued to get worse.

I can't wait to finish playing 999 and I can't wait until Good People Die is released.

It is extremely gratifying to finish 999 and finally getting the true ending. Be persistent and keep playing it, and you will be rewarded with an amazing video game story.

Yeah... And no, it wouldn't.... if you bought a PS Vita, you could buy both the Japanese version and the American version (if it's localised). Apparently some 3DS games can be made region-free though so I'm hoping Aksys does that (since they seem like the most likely localisation team).

That's what I wish too... 999 is a great game, and I'd love for it to get more recognition. It's a shame that there was such little hype about it.
