  • i m about to install the same camera. but it looks like he connected it to the brake like and not the backup llight

  • Does this mean we can avoid using all rear view mirrors when backing up and just use the monitor. Or is that not safe?

  • what if the reverse bulb is blown?

  • @subzeroable Power will still go to the light even if its blown.

  • I have in-dash gps. I connected the camera's power to the Reverse light (wire) also. It works fine, but not sure if that's the ideal set up.

Where do you guys usually run the wire coming from the in-dash camera to the back? Like the Blue wire (reverse). I installed it under the carpet of the car, and it touches the body of the car. Is that safe? Or should I use a heavy duty wire?

  • haha o dear.

  • good tutorial but i dont like wires hangin off my dash nor my power outlet being taken up. Far as the camera i think they should have a better quality one

  • Hi im looking to buy a wireless camera rear view Do you know where i can get some?

  • did you see that plate sunshine state.... :) lol....i got one of those in a good price .....

  • HEY!!!! I just got one of these camera's and i have a mini van "chevy venture" and the license plate is on the trunk not on the bumper....so if i install the camera on the back, the wire shows making it easier for a stranger to cut off....so how do i install it without the wire showing???????

  • I only have experiance with winplus units. Where is the antennae on the camera? Winplus units have an extra antennae wire that can be a pain to figure out where to place.

  • There are no extra antennas to install. Check out the full video or visit us at mobile(dot)audiovox(dot)com - look at Safety and Convenience > Back Up Systems

  • if i want my camera to turn on when the vehicle cuts on instead of reverse. which light do i install it to?

  • thank you for the video. What about the display picture, while moving is it very slow (because of wireless connection)?

  • Hi there - monitor on the ACA250 shows what is behind the vehicle in real time. On this video, the display picture is moving slow because the items shown in the picture are moving slowly. Let us know if you have any questions.

  • why is it called wireless??? it have a lot of leads!

  • It's wireless because you don't need to connect the monitor on your dashboard to the camera, which is installed on the license plate at the back of the vehicle.

  • @jediDG1987

Where would it get its power?

    SolaredPower?! lmao!
