  • Even though it's been 20 years..I can listen to a track and remember everything about it. The bass waas a Minomoog. The horns were a sample. The band that pitch bends up on the chorus was an Oberhiem Xpander. The seq stuff was most likley Yamaha Tx rack, cause of its great traking thru a seq. You can give is a 2-3 clock duration lenght and it will never miss a trigger.

  • Produced By Ric Wake For Wake Productions

Apollonia's "The Same Dream" Hit Number #3 In 1988 Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play Charts.

  • Where are you getting your info from? Like I said 6 months ago, Apollonia - The Same Dream got to #31 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in 1989. To my knowledge, thats the ONLY place it charted.

  • The song was Written by Alex Forbes.

  • The reason It sounds a lot like Tell it to my heart is because i was still stuck in that head back then and used the same Drum and sample template.

  • Do you remember what keyboards you used for this song?

  • Apollonia "The Same Dream" Song Written By Narada Michael Walden and Ric Wake.

Vocal Arranged and Drums: Narada Michael Walden and Joe Franco

    Keyboards:Rich Tancredi and Preston Glass

    Guitars:Bob Cadway.

    Bass:Randy Jackson

    Engineered & Mix By:Bob Cadway

    Background Vocals: Apollonia

  • I dont know where you got these credits from but 1st of all I DONT KNOW ANY PRESTON GLASS is and I think I would know if anyone was standing next to me when I was doing the arrangement and the keys. AND JOE FRANCO is a DRUMMER NOT a VOCAL ARRANGER...and it NEVER EVEN CHARTED on BILLBOARD...

  • this song suits her voice..

  • Thought that myself, along with the back beat.

  • Apollonia's "The Same Dream"song is Produced by Ric Wake and Narada Michael Walden .

Sound Like Taylor Dayne's "Tell It To My Heart" Song

I Think Apollonia Is Very Good Singer And Actress Can Do Much Good Singer Than Vanity and Taylor Dayne.

Produced By Ric Wake For Bleux Productions and Narada Michael Walden For Perfection Light Productions.

Went #1 in 1988 Billboard Charts.

  • Apollonia - The Same Dream did not go to #1 on ANY chart. It got to #31 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in 1989.

  • Great song -- my favorite from the CD. Sounds so much like a Taylor Dayne song.
