My favortie song of all-time (come as you are) is on this album so of course i consider it one of the 5 greatest albums ever made. It sad that most people think of this record as "The one that has 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' on it." When you have awsome tracks like "On a Plain", "Breed", "Drain You" & "Something in the Way" to go along with the 4 dope singles that came off of this wonderful peice of revolutionary colection musical recordings!!!!!

Truly life altering! This is the whole generation's album. I think grunge really start and end with Nirvana. Though I think the records of AIC's 'Dirt' and Soundgarden's 'Superunknown' are more focused than this but it can never beat the everlasting appeal of 'Nevermind' coz it's much easier to get into and there are more elements of fun in their music than just darkness & gloom.
