@whitbyjet65 You don't always know where they operate, though. Some relatives parked in a local s'market car park,got clamped. Had been parking there on and off for years. New company policy to use clamping. They had the relevant signs posted up, but these are old people..they're not looking for clamping signs or traps for the unwary. Got clamped...distressing experience. I appreciate there may be a need for clamping in some circumstances, but I personally think many of these people are scum.
@stillbashingmetal I agree there are rogue clampers out there but most people who are clamped are parked where they shouldn't be & they usually know it. Clamped in a supermarket car park? Sounds dubious. I assume they didn't shop there but just used it for free parking.
