if i lived in america id be stuck for choice out of a hemmi, old skool shelby/mustang, corvette, dodge viper and a few more.. we get one or 2 of those i mentioned here in the u.k but they cost 3 times what they cost in america and they are left hand drive so theres no point.. you can probably tell im a fan of american muscle. i visit the u.s (florida) every summer and am considering moving there one day and one of the above is what id purchase if i do as well as maybe a ricer for daily use.
its 360 bhp now, have a bigger gt2871 turbo charger, decat pipe, air filter, dreamscience remap, forged pistons and conrods, uprated head gasket, motorsport manifold, greddy boost controller and a few other bits.. it does torque steer but not as bad as youd think as the car comes standard with an quaife differential which helps put the power down a alot better then an average front wheel drive car.. but in the wet its insane!!
i think clarkson was exagerating a little bit.. if you find a bump on the road and give it some then yes it does go a bit wild but youd have to be stupid to try that in any car really but when the road is flat it isnt too bad.. i do also have full polyurethane bushes all over the car so maybe im being helped by those as i know alot of other rs focus's do go all over the place when the power is turned up big time.
to cut a long story short it basically limits torque for gears 1 and 2 to create less wheel spin thus the car is constantly moving forwards aka better traction.
you fool i said the gt28 is on the way.. and has now arrived, the car was 297bhp on my original gt25 turbo, plus if you know about rs's you should know that a dream science only remaps it to max of 1.4 bar.. i want more which is where greddy profec comes in as i can up the boost even more taking me to 360 bhp an almost 400lb ft of torque instead of the usual 330bhp..

It is FMS which looks very similar to the primary designs one & heat wrapped to 1000 degrees.
