I remember back when I was a boy, I hated going to church, yet this episode really helped me back then to gain a better idea of the basic nature of God. Now, I am a senior in theological seminary aspiring to one day become ordained, and a couple years ago, I incorporated the plot of this episode into part of a paper for my Basic Christian Doctrine class.
I earnestly wish there could be more animated shows/ episodes like this today.
Man if they made religous cartoons like this I'd watch it every day :D it sends good messages and it's not forcing christanity on non Christians so some of my friends wolud watch it who aren't christain too
i'm kinda suprised that they got this passed, especially since it was taken out entirely in x-men evolution and wolverine and the x-men. and it's blatant that he's talking about the judeo-christian God and not just a generalization
@caccapylly1 Nightcrawler seemed to be pretty happy.

good luck getting this on a kid show nowadays...too many uptight people would find this "offensive"
I guess the days of good, moral television are over...what a shame.

it's a shame that they don't make tv shows like this anymore

@Adamguy2003 That's amazing. Congrats, brother. I hope God and the Lord Jesus Christ help you.
This is one of the reasons Nightcrawler is my fav. That, and Erol Flynn.

all this was trying to do is just imply that wolverine found "God" it leaves it up to the viewers to decide which one
DRisLegend200919 1 year ago
@DRisLegend200919 No it doesn't, He is quoting from the Bible, whilst kneeling before a Cross... It s clear, that Jesus is Lord.

Christless Christianity. Moralism without the cross or Christ.

Watching the ending... I almost shed a tear. Touching. They don't make cartoons nowadays with the meaning they used to.
