A straitjacket is made from canvas or duck cloth not cloth like yours. jackets feature a crotch-strap to prevent the jacket from simply being pulled up and off. Some sport loops at the front and/or sides; the sleeves are threaded through these to prevent the arms from being raised over the head. Friction buckles are commonly used to fasten institutional jackets with webbing or cloth straps because they are very difficult to open without a free pair of hands.

If you really want to try it upside down and use a real straight jacket let me know and I can be a big help. Prepare though for it to be much harder than getting out of that one. All in all though it is a great video and looks like you had lots of fun doing it, so Kudos to you.

Rather than doing it upside down, add a challenge to it. Get strapped up and then let someone tie ropes or chain around the outside and see if you can get out of it. Adding to the challenge would be interesting so I challenge you to see if you can do it.

.... She should try that with a real straight jacket, one that uses buckles instead of cheap ties.... And the neck should be tied off, so she cannot simply pull it down like she did. Also have metal loops by the waist that stop her from pulling the sleeves over her head.

Err...no offesne, but that was kind of a half-assed escape. Seems like the straps in the back weren't even tight/way too loose, as well as your arms being way too loose. Fun video, but I'd like to see how long it takes you when somebody tightens up everything, now that would be a real escape. Keep it up.
