Man, I want to come to one of your sweats. No plastic tarps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We never had plastic on our lodges down south, never had seen it before coming to BC. Did you give that first blanket you put on to Damien? I've seen it many times on his lodge, just a lot more worn out lol
this is all wrong!! wth, is this ol'man doing...this is sacred, it don't belong here...you're showing all those fk'n weirdos out there to profit from this...you're a disgrace to your ppl...You condone everything that whiteman did in Az....wow, ppl going in with shoes on...showing the fire...Shame on you!! Shame on everything you're showing....isn't anything sacred anymore!?
@lbullbear I hear what your saying, but, To be sacred, doesn't mean to be secret.teachings have to be passed on. I am looking at this video to learn because there are young men in my first nation community who do not have a sweat lodge. Perhaps when something is sacred, it should be treated with respect, and not be used to gain $ perhaps that's where they wen't wrong in AZ. It's never wrong to share knowledge, things go bad when the knowledge shared is used for the wrong reason.
The teachings also say that many of the sacred ceremonies should never be recorded in any way! I am happy that these ceremonies and teachings are taking place; however the internet is noty the place for them.
Terrible that people have become so lazy with life that they need to turn to the internet to learn about the teachings that should never be on here. I am a Proud Annishanabe and run a lodge for the people. My teachings over many years no matter where I go have always stated that when the student needs to participate to learn.
