  • always the 4 of clubs!

  • "They do tricks as well, they make my money disappear every month." LOL

  • i cant help but think that the 4C written in the box was transferred onto the bottom card of the deck placed on top of it. A few reasons; he made Penn write in the box (why would that be), he made Penn but it face down (therefore leaving what was written on the top layer), he put a the cards on top and then a heavy can and then a phone, then took the cards off and put the can back on (what would be the point at all of placing the cards on top to begin with. ill tell you why, to transfer 4C on it

  • @emwes29 Boom

  • @emwes29 man you are good. thanks

  • What's the song in his intro called?

  • @Jonez69

    Dave Brubeck - Take Five

  • @Jonez69 "take five"

  • This was a horrible mess up.

  • Niggers stole 7:00

  • I think he probably messed up his routine and, instead of repeating the whole thing, they repeated only some parts, and edited the two runs together. Several objects change place on the table, and the bottom card of the deck is different at 2:07 and 3:04 (without anyone touching it, supposedly). There also isn't enough time in the video to insert Teller's card into the bottle and let it unfold. Finally, the bottle label is held with a sticker, which suggests an emergency reset.

  • @RFC3514 I doubt it was a mess up in his routine, TV has to edit things to fit in an allotted time slot, the act could of been 15 minutes long and the editor had to find a way to get it in to 5, so large chunks simply had to be cut to save time.

  • wait, how did the can of wine come from a sealed case? he showed it was sealed on both ends before he opened it to get teller's card in the bottle

  • @TheBoBandit - It wouldn't be too hard to make it look sealed (the bottom "seal" could descend after the "can of anglish wine" is removed), but then why would he call people's attention to it by saying "as you can see, it's sealed"? There's clearly a cut at 3:33 (a glass appears in front of Penn and several objects change position), which is also likely to be the moment when he gets the card into the bottle.

  • @RFC3514 Yeah I was thinking along the same lines. I followed most of it pretty well, but then he drew attention to the bottom for some reason. It seemed like it wouldn't be too hard to fake a seal, as he opened the other end. I like his style, just would like to see it all uncut as the cuts in the video make it tough to judge.

  • etienne pradier wtf

  • It was a magic can of wine... and by that, I mean it was an advanced piece of tech that could read inside the black thing and display it inconspicuously.

  • @Liberum69 Can I buy it from you please?

  • @Averagebum2 I'm gonna need you to get your hands on some plutonium so I can recreate it.

  • @Averagebum2 And a flux capacitor, if you have one lying around.

  • How do Penn and Teller know these guys are telling the truth when they say "no stack" or "no pencil reading", etc?

  • @derstrom8 he didnt watch penn writing

  • @molbac I don't necessarily mean this actual video. I just mean in general. How can they believe them? Penn and Teller say themselves that magicians and illusionists are nothing but liars....

  • @derstrom8 In the pilot they mentioned they had a "master of magic" or something who was the final word on whether they were fooled. It sounded like the "master" is told the trick and they ensure that the performer can't lie about how they did it. That's just a guess, though.

  • @apostrophest That's correct. The producer is Johnny Thompson - the Great Tomsoni, and he has to be told each and every trick and how it's done. (You can hear Johnathon Ross talk to him through a headset in some of the acts).

Penn and Teller aren't stupid. They know magicians are inherently liars. After all, they ARE ones. They aren't going to let someone lie their way to Vegas. At least, not unless its through a magic trick.

  • 3:50 saw card up sleeve

  • @LiteracyLabyrinth2 That's his shirt sleeve.

  • @drsixsixsix take 5 by Dave brubecker (sp?)

  • what is that song witch is played when this magican is presented and came on stage

  • spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler

spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler

spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler

its not hard, why would he put the card deck (white surface), the "bottle of english wine" and a cell phone (enough weight ) on top of a verry weird colored enveloppe?

  • thumbs up for dave brubeck!

  • No way !!!!!! Magic!!!!

  • Teller looks abit down....anyone else think so ?

  • WOW.. the card at 5:43 suddenly disappear at 5:46... MAGIC...

  • @adekthejoker the magic of video editing for T.V's time restrictions....

  • @Kryszkiewicz666 or while they switched to anothe camera, one of them took the deck

  • @adekthejoker - There seem to be 3 significant cuts in the video (the one at 3:33 probably being the longest), which kind of ruins this kind of show. With a long enough cut, I could produce a grown chicken from an egg.

  • His phone on the can could be a key.

  • 3:20 Slight of Hand fail

  • @Soundboy6 it is not a fail from the guy that did the magic it is the camera mans fail

  • @Soundboy6 its sleight

  • @Alloftheanwsers Oh, thanks pal. :)

  • @Soundboy6 damn it why dosnt anybody respond to trolls anymore *sigh*

  • @Alloftheanwsers Cause I'm not an asshole?

  • @Soundboy6 are you sure?........kidding

  • @Alloftheanwsers :P Cheers

  • @Soundboy6 all that sleight of hand was misdirection. the only reason you saw it was because of bad camera angles. if you were right there chances are you wouldnt see it

  • @Soundboy6 its not a fail

  • they have someone who knows the trick, and can interfere when someone says that Penn & Teller are wrong...

  • after the show do the prouducers check the tricks to see if the performers we'rnt lieing?

  • @MartinChris95 Before entering the stage all magicians aggree to show the real inner workings of their effects to the Master Magician Johnny Thompson, as to make sure they won't lie if P&T catch their drift.

  • he could also have lied..anyone can deny the guesses Penn and Teller make. That's pretty annoying to think about lol

  • @Tomathana They can't lie. Read my other comment.

  • Wow they resorted to pencil reading. I wouldve gone with some lens that can see through the paper.

  • @TheKhaiXiang He didn't have any lenses on him.

  • what's stack refers to?

  • @daveshanejoe To ectoplasm.

  • @daveshanejoe Having the deck in a certain order.

  • @daveshanejoe I'm pretty sure it reffers to a presorted deck.. like a "stacked deck"

  • I'm glad this nice gentleman got the chance of his life
