It's possible to celebrate romantic love without denigrating people who have chosen other paths to happiness. "There is no real happiness without love"? (meaning romantic love in this context) Many of us are happily unattached, and NOT in denial. Being single is "staying in your shell and being miserably forgotten"? What judgmental claptrap. Hollywood's George Clooney could have any woman he wants, and chooses to remain unattached. I wish we could move past these perceptions.
