if ur computer don't let you use brake, laft & steer at the same time so you need to switch brake to left SHIFT

@MrZauberwuerfel unfortunately this is know as a starting bug, i noticed that thru making this video but it only makes a difference of few hundreads of second so i decided to leave it as it was.. the main purpous of this vid is to teach how to drift no matter how u start the track. believe me, drifting in this particular situation is way faster then breaking the usual way.. greetings!

@Necronlord2011 i used tmn inbuilt videoeditor, adobe aftereffects and vegas studio (codec used - h.264). The arrows were added into the video thru the inbuilt tmn videoeditor by inserting a picture (created the arrows myself in adobe illustrator, but u may download whatever arrowpicture you like from the internet indeed). The hardest part was the precision timing of the arrows appearing and disappearting from the screen - all done manually in a frame-by-frame mode in the inbuilt editor..

U need to assign your break to a different key on yor keyboard, for example a spacebar! Or get yourself a gamepad;)

wtf i changed my input keys and i have the black stuff coming out of the back of the car's wheels but i can't drift like that. becuz i ususally brake while holding accelerate and the directioln ur going but i still can't drift like that. my drifts stay with the wheels while ur ur black things are going back and forth? wtf wtf teach me pl0x lol

@jenske65 have you remapped your input keys? you need to change your break key, that is absolutely necessary!

@jenske65 well,your key settings is correct,just tried it myself..now,what you need to do is this: speed up first,then start turning left (dont use the break yet, just push the left arrow key together with the up-arrow,that is very important!), count approx 0,5 sec - 1 sec and than you can start breaking (if you do this correctly your car starts drifting and you can see all 4 black strapes behind your tyres). So the crutial thing here is to start breaking approx 0,5-1sec after you start turning!

M8 u made a mistake which made the videos un comparable! If u look closely after the boost the right drift is already infront for a good comparison u should of done them in the same way! This way u gained a little lead and isnt so nice in my eyes

For some reason my keyboard will only let me drift to the right and not left. If I press 3 keys at once going left, it will start making a beebing noise but it works fine when i press 3 keys going left. Anyone know why?

@TheJustDestroyer well, in order to drift correctly, you have to press and hold the left arrow first and wait cca 0.5 - 1 sec and than you press and hold the break key to succesfully drift! Try it!

well, the best solution is to get a controller (gamepad) and use analog steering (left right) instead like pros.. but, if you insist u should remap your keys to the following scheme, which works on keyboards: "i" - throttle, "L" - left, ";" - berak, " ' "(apostrophee) - right.. GL!

2 Playah: Its got nothing to do with your hands but the keys mapped for playing (arrows by default), remap the break alternatively and you will be able to drift all the way (this suggestion is also a part of the video). I play on the following layout (on ENG QWERTY keyboard): i(forward) L(left) ;(break) '(right) - these were the olny four keys that all worked pressed together at the same time.
