I hate how in horror movies, when people are being chased and they have three choices: run through the door(they have time), jump out the window( if they just cover their face and they'll be fine), or run up the stairs. And of course they decide to run up the stairs trapping themselves.

electrical appliances (they like chopping limbs off somehow-usually through stupidity)

finally- pets and little children (they tend to go to the dark side and want you dead-sometimes they succeed *I don't know y, but some people can't seem to take on little 5-6 year olds)

another one is to NOT listen to ironic songs while running away (hey, some people liaten to music while they run) or go into a creepy dark room. it's because whatever you're listening to becomes audible to the killer dude (not to mention he's probably following the song to find you)
