The insane biblical theories this video points at are wrong but the general idea of the title is correct - the 'Dark Age' in Europe really wasn't that dark at all! There was plenty of culture - astronomy, religion (albeit Pagan), wonderful craftsmanship, exploration, trade with Arabia and the Orient - it wasn't as bad as we are told!
