With all due respect regarding BB and Eartha Kitt, but I never found her voice that appealing. She fits perfect into this song but at the same time, her voice literally devours the whole song...
I am convinced that This track was originally meant for Divine but she died before the track was recorded. The lyrics are painfully and blatantly a tribute to the John Water's movie Female Trouble. Eartha Kitt did a great Job but I am betting that Divine would have been better at it.

I for one am glad that Miss Kitt recorded this song instead of Divine. And Divine is not a she but a he with a horrible voice and all his music is very bad indeed! Eartha Kitt on the other hand has an extraordinary voice and stage presence Divine could have never have hoped for, not to mention that Divine never sold any records to amount to anything except for the old queens that thought he was good!!!
RIP Eartha - I won't forget the catchy Cha cha heels song that was played for the 1st time in the 1989 school holidays here in England. Luckily her work will live on as a reminder to a wonderfull lady.
@TrevEggs Very true.. Divine was well... Divine... gone too soon.. i think it was back in 88' when he passed... he was on his way to shoot some scenes on the American tv show - Married with Children
Fantastic I love Eartha and have never seen this interview thank you so much for posting it!Ive posted a few eartha bits myself will try and get some more up. Do you have any others?
Imagine a woman could atually walk where Divine should have walked

The tune is very wack. But I love Ms.Kitt and Steve Bronski is a bear. With his big ass.
Much Love.
