Just wondering because I've been playing the game for a while and still haven't figured this out, is there any method to obtaining gotcha borgs or are they just randomized?

It depends on what borgs you fight, the rarity, and how good you fought(not sure about that last one) some borgs are basterds that don't like to be obtained, prime example, Beam Samurai. I want that borg SOOOO bad.

there is many things that make this game better. BUT this game is awsome even without those things! if they make a wii game they should add the things like multiple missions AND MORE COMBINE BORGS! also there should be more tribes and more borgs in those tribes naming a few. epic !

you know, i used to have this, and i replayed the campaign well over 30 times to get more data pieces and get more borgs, im wondering why i ever sold this game. 

what i loved about it was that despite the simplistic controls there were different play styles for each type of robot, eg i started with the simple gunner but u have to play differently to play well with the different bots. god i really want this back now D:

Lol, i noticed the Person you were Missing in your Partner Selection, your Missing Sho, it's sad that he is an Optional Partner to get, but in order to get him you have to win all the fights with him which are a real pain >.>, im sure by now you have him right?

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong cuz every time i play him i win, which is how your suppose to get him as a friend, but it doesnt seem to be doing it

hmm...well at the lst part were the death force take over the town again, i believe in one of your battles, sho comes to help you after you win all your fights with him, and only after that battle does he actually join...thats what i remember.
