The rest of us benefit from fresh bio vegetables and fruit and vegetable juice but there's absolute no reason not to cook one's food as long as you eat some fresh greens on the side.
It's good to be aware what you put into your body, but not healthy to make it a lifestyle.
@Skumpaj yes, if they don't eat the meat, who will offer financial support to the orthopedics, the nephrologists & the pharmaceutical companies? Not to mention the health insurance cpmpanies?
umm... that was a stupid comment about pitbulls. The breed is NOT more aggressive (quite the contrary actually) but they get a bad wrap because they are used in dog fighting and they produce mean dogs. Then the media hypes up every dog bite related to the breed. The dog most likely to bite and be aggressive is a chahuahua but they dont look mean so no one cares or hears about THEM!
(and for the record I am not a pitbull owner, but I HAVE worked around dogs since I was 14.)
Chihuahua's dont have the power to kill or maim people like the pitbull though. Look up the history of why pitbulls were breed to begin with. What other dog was created specifically to fight other dogs?
We are Aly and Rick, We would like to thank you for all the that the both of you have have had to say to change the life of us unheathy peeps. We are enjoying new tastes and a new style of life. Thank you ever so much the both of you. Rick and Aly
my first thought was brian clement and gaberial cousens. but if i think not a health expert I think of something i saw on the news years ago about a 78 year old woman who was competing in the Iron Man race just to challenge herself to finish the race. maybe you interview some really old racers to see how they are still in good enough shape to do races. =^-^=
i have stopped taking D3 as i had big toxicity symptoms; dizziness, headaches and a numb arm and hand. i had tested deficient and was taking 1000iu for 3 weeks.
i will now get D2 as apparently there is no toxicity concern with this form.
my arm is still numb even though i stopped taking D3 a few weeks ago.
Kevin, thank you for lowering the volume on your music. It was so much louder than the videos that I would have to turn my volume WAY down and "wait for it" until you started talking, and then turn it back up again. I wish the Raw Food World would turn theirs down, too. lol
i don't think your dumb Kevin. I appreciate the information you provide and the more balanced approach. Can't say I love the song, but....lol, I must have missed the vote. I don't hate it enough to not watch.
I'm sorry that this is the only topic I choose to comment on but "Pit Bulls" are NOT aggressive. They are not bred to be aggressive. They are TRAINED to fight by incredibly ignorant and careless humans. There are breeds that have been bred and trained to be protective dogs and are essentially viewed as being aggressive but "pit bulls" are not on that list. It saddens me that people truly believe this but I guess it goes the same for people who believe milk is good for you because it's on TV.Sigh
I am sorry but my experience of a pitbull has been a bad one. Our next door neighbor who is very nice and is an older gentlemen has owned his pitbull since a puppy. He is around 2 now and is very mean and dangerous. He snaps at everyone and if he wasn't on his chain, there is no doubt he would attack people.
All dogs have a temperament that they are born with but through love and nurturing, any animal can become loving. Pitbulls, imo are born with a slant to have a bad temperament.
Yeah pittbulls do seem to be an aggressive breed but a dogs temperment also depends on if the dog has disiplined & socialised, even sharpe dogs (rolly poley dogs) can be aggresive, they used to breed them is the chinese military, & jack rusells were bread for rabbit hunting. but I would say any pittbull owner would need to be a strong pack leader & trainner because the pittbulls are a breed of dog that if attacts, grips on & locks jaw & most carnivor animals will bite & shake 2 kill their prey.
@jeremymerriamdotcom This all goes back to the responsibility of the owner. If you do not socialize your puppy and if wasn't socialized before you even get it from the breeder you will have these issues. I've never had a bad experience with Pits. Just because your neighbor is an older gentlemen and very nice does not mean the dog has had the proper upbringing. He's kept on a chain for christ sake. That's just cruel. I have however been bitten by quite a few other dogs.
@jeremymerriamdotcom I was just bit the other day but my neighbors dog that probably weighs no more than 5 lbs. He was off leash and I was walking to my car and he ran up and bit me. That's not gonna be on the news anytime soon. Just to put this out there, 80% of the dog attacks on the news who are said to be pit or pit mixes are not actually that at all but they don't go back and correct that information.
@jeremymerriamdotcom If you look back in history, the media seems to choose a different breed every 10 years or so. The number one family dog, or one of, is the Golden Retriever but they also most likely to bite, but you don't hear about that either.
@jeremymerriamdotcom @jeremymerriamdotcom One last thing, regarding the Michael Vick incident, most of those dogs have been placed in new homes and they are doing phenomenal. Some had to be put down due to their aggression towards other animals because of the way they were TRAINED but the great majority of them just want to be nurtured and loved.
@jeremymerriamdotcom I'm sorry you had a "bad experience" but under the circumstances, I am almost positive that even if that dog wasn't a pit bull he would probably act the time. It all goes back to the owners.
I still muted my computer when the intro started but then again I had to turn my volume down when I unmuted it...your whole video is louder than other internet videos :P
I really like Sean Croxton aka Underground Wellness on youtube. His videos have taught me a lot. By the way you're looking so radiant kevin! lucky hehe.
kevin the reason I love you is you just know how to keep it real and simple. Follow these old guys is perfect advice. anybody can listen to someone young and all they promise but they don't have the years behind it. Jack Lalaine is my favorite but Jay Kordich and Charotte gerson are great too. When i hear them speak, I close my mouth and open my ears as big as I can.

Hear ye
Men and children need meat at least three times a week and in generous amounts.
Meat of good quality where the animals behind have had a calm and nice life.
The raw diet is primarily made for people with an underdeveloped digestive system or the like.
