@xXFallenKinghtXx I got a book with CD called "Double Bass Drumming The Mirrored Groove System" by Jeff Bowders a while back and I really like it. There's 87 tracks on the CD. Each one is played 2 times. There are some very cool and unique grooves in there. There are 8 different beats annotated on each page that are all similar to each other and one of them from each page is recorded on the CD. It has helped increase my ability to read drum music because of it's layout.

And by the way guys, it's a DW snare, and although the heads can make a difference, the snare in this case does make the sound. Until you have played DW, you won't get it. A cheap or medium priced snare really benefits from the heads and tuning, but an expensive snare is more forgiving of both, but can be tuned to be awesome! DW Rules!

@rullante Its not the snare brand its more the brand of the head, how you tune it, and the bottom spring tension. The head looks like an Evans coated head, and the springs on the bottom are a little tight... Hope this helped!
