@mahlstadt they have weird chords on this song but if you look up "cherry lane starfish tab" on google you can find a complete printout of the tabs for each song on this album
This song is a good example of why I never had a career as a record exec...I guess. I hear this song and think it was one of THE best songs of an entire decade. Right up there with the likes of The Whole of the Moon, The Unforgettable Fire, and How Soon Is Now? Great tune from a great band.
Hey that's awesome your getting into the Church, how did you hear of them? I know it sucks that a lot of people are missing out on great music like this. If you like them you should check out some channels call nzoz, they have a lot of great bands that a lot of americans never heard of.
i have a deep affection for 80s music; i grew up listening to u2, the cure, r.e.m., etc. i had heard under the milky way a million times before, but never really knew who it was, so i looked it up and just branched off from there.
Great! I'm glad you like the Church. I love listening to 80's music too, especially alternative bands like the cure, the the, the church, rem, oingo biongo etc. If you like the church you should check out Echo and the bunnymen and Split Enz.
i couldn't agree with you more pop is so annoying. I got into the church because of skateboarding, they use the church sometimes in videos that pros skate too. skateboarding introduced me into older kinds of music like this, im so thankfull for that
didnt realise this was off Starfish. One of my faves on their best off, but being at the end of the disc- it just had to be the song that blatently refused to play. Cheers Georgie
Wonderful song/album.

More than Under The Milky Way, Antenna is my favourite one on Starfish (1988)!
Australian rock gave great "hidden away" bands like The Church, The Go-Betweens and Died Pretty!

I love this song and album!!!! The Church kicks ass. I'm probably the only person in the U.S. that knows the church.

not true, lol -- i'm from the US, too. i'm just getting into them, though. shame i've never heard them before.
it's true, it's ridiculous how much the US is caught up in celebrities and pop culture. it's irritating as hell.

My favourite Church song , too.
I was very disappointed when I saw them in concert in Milan (Italy) years ago, and they did't play neither this one nor Spark.....

What a shame US radio DJs only played "Milky Way" (albeit that is one AWESOME song); this band has SO many GREAT songs and they are so underated!!

I agree with you. This whole album was so great, all the songs were good. The trend in the U.S. is only to play whats popular, its a shame.
