Things Jordy has gotten wrong: Believing "doctor" and "dock", "berth" and "birth", "bank" and "bench", are the same word(s) with the same meanings.
Solomon being "Sol", "om", and "on". Solomon's name was actually "Schlomo" at the time. "Solomon" is actually the English version of that name.
Sun and Son being the same thing...

The fact that there is no god (IF such an absolute fact could be established) DOES NOT mean that prayer doesn't work. On the contrary, the prayers of the non-believer are impotent, faith being essential to the psychological pathway of it. Prayer can be a way of foucsing the WILL.

@howtoplanaparty Did I put down the Bible? I do elevate the Red Letter Teachings of Jesus above everything else in the Bible - and I have questioned the ethics and authorship of the Bible - but I mostly ask questions. However - if someone is put down for putting down the Bible - isn't that bullying or terrorism? Praise God - or else? Responsibility is right. Irresponsibility is wrong. Ethics are supremely important - and Old Testament ethics are reprehensible. Revelation isn't much better.

@CreateRealWorldPeace Bill believed in the Red-Letter Teachings of Jesus and the U.S. Constitution. So do I. They are two sides of the same Responsible Freedom coin. Listen to all of the Bill Cooper recordings on Google Video. They are all excellent. The churches are probably mostly infiltrated and subverted - and pastors probably have to toe the line - or they find themselves scrubbing toilets.

@CreateRealWorldPeace My impression is that whoever put the site together, did their homework - but I wouldn't want to get sucked into that particular worldview. I try to sample everything - and I'm not as dogmatic as those people appear to be. Also - I generally have problems with a lot of the Bible - with the exception of the Red Letter Teachings of Jesus - or the words attributed to Jesus. The Old Testament God seems to be problematic. Try reading 'The God's of Eden' by William Bramley.
