I would have had so much more respect for him if he just said 'Guys - I screwed up. I'm sorry.' Instead, we get the full 'I'm pure as the driven snow, and innocent as a new born lamb' routine. What is wrong with our government? WHY CAN'T ANY OF THEM JUST SAY 'I'M SORRY!'

I'm not much of a Labour fan but I think the press is hounding out perfectly good ministers just to get a story. This happens time and agiain and affects the quality of who's in charge.
