  • some members of abu sufyans family were the instigaters. im not suprised.

  • Who did start the practice of abusing Sahabas?

Sahih Muslim, Book 31: Chapter 4: Number 5915:

"This hadith has been narrated. on the authority of Shu'ba with the same chain of transmitters. Amir b. Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas reported on the authority of his father that? Muawiya b. Abi Sufyin appointed Sa'd as the Governor and said:? What prevents you from abusing Abu Turab (Hadrat 'Ali), whereupon be said:_ _ _ _ _"

  • Muslims Kab tak is pe Larty raho gy k kon sahabi kkesa tha kon sahi tha kon nai

  • why are you accepting these ahadeeth and not others from Muslim? Typical Rawafidh, picking and choosing.

  • @403MC If we accept all the Ahadiths from Muslim and Bukhari, then what would be the difference between Us.The whole problem is regarding the correct interpretation of the Holy Quran and the authenticity of the Sayings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH)

  • @Hussain5572 those Ahadith that are agreed upon by both may be accepted brother

  • brother i can only say one thing....in this conflict of different sects

    ----

    Surah Ar-Room:30-32

"Be not of the Mushrikeen, of those who split up their religion and became sects, each rejoicing in that which is with it."

  • exactly brother. may Allah help us unite, and cast aside our petty differences!

  • brotherz i neither want 2 b..shia nor sunni....i just wanna b muslim!...

  • yes brother; i am totally with you on this! i believe that we should be united as Muslims, no matter what school of thought we follow! i'm a Shiny Muslim myself hehe (Shi'ah + Sunni = Shiny) =D

  • why do you shias still cry what happened 1400 YEARS ago..it cannot be changed...what happened happened and happened for the better!!

  • Because what happened 1400 years ago changed the world for ever, so ever shall we cry. Let me ask, do you pray on laylatul qadr extra? it happend 140 years ago,but the reward is still there, nothing in Isam gets old, 1400 years feels like 14

  • im referring to about the hating of sunnis... the sunnis of today are not responsible of what happend to family of the prophet...allah will judge and knows best..why cant we leave at that...i odnt understand why the shias will see sunnis as enemies..it is just spreading hatred for something we did not do...

  • we need to adopt the character of Ahlulbayt (as) instead of only verbally declaring that we love them

  • because what happened 1400 years ago is extremely relevant to today; it helps us recognise our friends and enemies today,as though the times have changed, the tactics haven't!; revolutions happen because of what happened 1400 years ago! Mahatma Gandhi said "It became clear to me that if India wanted to achieve victory then it must understand the life story of Husain". Don't we follow Rasulullah, who lived 1400 years ago?? we can still learn from the past, and its extremely importandt to do so!

  • We don't blame Sunnis brother, we blame the actual people who did it. { That no laden one shall bear another one's load} (53:38 of Quran), We should unite. It's sad... The whole Problem with us is Leadership.
