@LS6Z28 agree, what's even worse is when two enforcers go at it just because thats all they are there for -staged fights. nothing against fighting but it can disrupt some good hockey games.
Love watching those non enforcer, but tough, hard nosed players like Neely, Stevens, Roberts, Shanahan, Manson, Tocchet, Gill. It's usually allways a wild spirited bout when these guys fight each other.
i like the green and red over the black and red...but i'm old school...i love the days when Quebec and Winnipeg were around and Atlanta was losing the WS to the Jays :P
Hey Jimmymac16, for every time you place a comment such as that writtin below up on the net for others to read, you will subsequently lose 1 year off of your life span. Now go type in your crushes name and thereafter read us HIS name you moron.

Not to my knowledge. He was, however, "imprisoned" by Shanny's death grip. And "no", I am not a Tocchet or Flyer fan. I was speaking objectively as a fight fan. No homerism here.
@boston4877 Tocchet owned him, but you have to realize that Shanny was an 18 year old kid, and Rick was 23 with over 90 NHL fights already under his belt.
Well the Vick deal wasn't about animal cruelty....it was racketeering because of interstate gambling and animal trafficing. Most people oversimplify his case into being about him killing dogs. That was only a small part of it. Another problem Vick had was testing positive for marijuana while he was on probation. That weighed heavily against him getting off with just probation.
I agree though that Stallworth should be in jail for at least 5 years.
Id say that spending a couple of years in jail and losing his houses to foreclosure is payment enough. I'm not a Vick fan at all and I think he's a ghetto punk with a sense of entitlement about everything, but if someone wants to pay him to play football, then he should have the right to work.
This couldn't be June 13, 1987. That was before Shanahan was even drafted into the NHL.

@idster7 It was December 6th, 1987. There wasn't hockey on June 13th back then. The cup was over in May.

Shanny looked fine. You must be a Flyer and/or Tocchet fan. That would explain. Isn't Tocchet going to prison on gambling charges or something?

Rich people don't go to prison (at least not for more than a few months)
They hire expensive lawyers to negotiate a fine and long term probation.
BoSoxnation1972 3 years ago
as long as its not involving animal cruelty. murdering another human.. thats no problem. apparently

The sad thing about vick is i can see someone signing him. I guess people do rehabilitate themselves but........
His brother has definitly proved otherwise.
