Dismemberment mod and gibsplat are good for different reasons. Dismemberment is good for removing bodies in a more realistic and brutal manner, while GibSplat is just overall more realistic (exept for blood, wah).

I have to mod downloading but when ever i look at the bodies that are gibbed or wat ever, yellow and blue text appear on the top right of my screen how do I fix that please HALP! :(

2:34, I do not think it is very realistic that someones head becomes ampuutated by a corpse flying at them, sure their neck would break but it probably wouldn't come off entirely.

@sonicdafast Phsyics time was down so the corpse could've been flying at Mach 5 speed for all I know. But hey, it's Garry's Mod for christ sake. How realistic do you want it to be while still having the classic stupidity still installed. Am i rite.

Well I just felt like pointing out the obvious, don't make it out that it's my fault that the source engine isn't as realistic as people would like. And I really doubt that a corpse could travel at Mach 5 with this mod without gibbing itself. Don't respond to me that you were being sarcastic :/

@LineArkGA Haha, your right on the "too fast to not gib" part. Also, the ragdolls have different weights on certain body parts and just totally different physical properties than any other prop on Garry's Mod. So when it's in "flight" i guess you could say, it changed momentum and speed constantly mainly because the legs, arms and head spin around. GibSplat gibs when force is put on one of those joints, thats what happened with the corpse flying at the NPC.

I put gib splat in the right folder.But it wont work...I also have dismemberment mod...is this the problem...because if it is I cant delete it for some reason

have the console activated, open it up, and type: bind "h" "kill"

of course it doesn't have to be h, it can be whatever key, just make sure you know the keys ingame name(shift is SHIFT, 1 on the numberpad is KP_END, etc.

iikes it because you can spawn a prop [harpoon e.t.c.] and you dont go through it like without it you do go through it. And if you get model maipulator and download a ragdoll pack if you change youre model to one of the ragdolls yore limbs STILL fall off
