@jeetendrag10acc2 We have a really nice changer. we use it most of the time, but you are right, we run for hours and spend a minute changing tools. Art
Very nice machine. I program and operate a SCM Chronos Routech. Its pretty big, but no where near as big as this. 5 axis is very cool indeed. We've just started to use tooling paste for our molds. Keep up the good work :D
Again some nice work, this time on Poseidon - which is just a bit bigger than ares :-)
This looks like foam with a laminating paste (like made by Ebalta). Is this part of a boat? It looks like the mold for part of the deck of a small yacht and I've seen some other things resembling boats on the background of some of your videos.
I really like to add (a much smaller) 5-axis machine to my production line. Your videos are very nice to see some of the advantages.
The heads are the same, but Ares is 6'x16'x3' and Poseidon is 27'x96'x13'. We create alot of molds for yachts and planes. Even parts for spacecraft. 5-axis is alot of fun once you fully understand it.
Way over a million with the building and foundation.I don't know for sure. Glad I didn't have to pay for it, or the power bill! I do know the head is around 30,000 dollars.
at 4:47 its really scary how close the head passes near the work surface

hello a4near,
i suppose a tool changer's cost effectiveness is questionnable, since each pass takes hours?
best regards,
jeeten

makes my shopbot look microscopic, I think you have 83x more cutting area not to mention that is almost 4x the square footage of my shop.
