I agree with ZDanimations' post. Northern Italy was a totally different story from the south. At the airport in Milano I met some Italians who started hating on southerners, calling them "terroni" (from dirt). It was awful. I think southerners are more normal. southerners are moving north though, so it will change. even though our government is no good, Italian government is really 'in your face' clowns. Berlusconi is the only one who was able to wrap it all around his finger though. sad
