  • yes i found that was useful!!it took me ages to tighten the screw with a massive screw driver as i only have a small pink sewing machine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @kickingego The most useful tool in my own tool box is a mini set of screwdrivers that I bought from Stanley at Walmart for about $5. I use them nearly everday, especially for changing thje kids' toy batteries.

  • I just want to Thank You, I have been trying to learn how to use my wife's machine and the thread kept breaking. I had no idea there was a specific side of the needle. Now I can continue making cornhole bags!

  • could you please help me :) i understand how to put the needle in but .. when i put my new needles in the tip of the needle touches the medal part and i cant get it in .. is there smaller ones ?

  • @SuperASHBASH Just unscrew it a little bit more and the needle should go all the way up.

  • It happens, always right when your manual is no where to be found of course!

  • thanks as i just bent mine :0

  • I'm so glad it helped. I have a basic Kenmore also and the needle change is the same. This is because most needles are universal to any machine. Sometimes the flat side will face in a different direction.

  • thanks a lot. I lost my instruction manual & I need to change my needle for the first time. Your tutorial works for Janome sewing machine too (mine is Janome mini).

  • THANK YOU! I've had my Freesia for years and this is my first needle break and I had no idea. Great video.
