This allows us to have a currency that all other countrys can use to borrow as loans and buy bonds, to fund their debt and for us to fund our debts. This happened during world war 2 and gave the US a huge economic adavantage allowing us to make huge amounts of money and to fund a war and fund other countrys, The USD \ is shown against other currencys in the exchange rate to show how strong it is.

If USA placed all of those restrictions on our companies the employees wages would be larger THUS the product would need to be more expensive [to pay employee wage] which MEANS that products from companies from other countries with cheaper employees would sell cheaper in stores which means people would buy them and NOT American thus our companies fail.
