The two are so sweet, argue over illuminating the personal beeing or beeing Eros. These are the two on us. Ones we are a human beeing from the earth who can transform into a stage of liberation and then everybody has got this eternal grain inside - this child of good - who is able to practis eros even in a body which is "not" perfect. At least it is love driving life. The two are wonderful. sorry my bad english
I agree with Andrew that after awakening to the 'ground of being' as your true essential nature, the continued 'process' is towards integration of that into manifested life as a human on earth. I see, living in India, many people whom I would say have not come full circle and are in a way denying the value of ordinary human life. In coming full circle it is known that the Play of Leela is Nirvana and nothing needs to be denied. And as he says, it never needs to be thought about again. Simple!
It's fascinating that Andrew's "two basic choices" model, at the beginning of the clip, morphs into a "beingness develops progressively into the action-impulse" model... from horizontal to vertical.
Aren't both sides of this suggested by Adi Da's early Knee of Listening essays on the critical distinction between the "non-regenerated Amrita Nadi" (Divine as Being) and the "regenerated Amrita Nadi" (Divine as primordial becoming-in-interactivity)? Both these men are doubtless familiar with this literature...
Fascinating. This delineates the core difference between two divergent yet valid "paths". I have to agree that Eros is the more compelling of the two, if it can be called a path.
Interesting dialogue...differentiating the ground of beingness (that is if it is ontologically correct to describe spirit as a "being"...versus Eros. Great dialogue....I still like the famous scripture, God is love :-)....The guy is still cool nonetheless.
@JesseHerriott now what is really cool where they talk of which one is in a sense, the "greater urgency" (both are still equally great), to affect change in the cosmos, or to return to oneness with that ground of being or ultimate consciousness?

And to add to that, it manifests as good will and love and genuine care for the whole.
