While this was VERY disturbing, it did not even come up for vote and has not yet been reintroduced into the new (112th) congress and therefore is not on the table anymore. I followed this one close and agree that even INTRODUCING this is absolute insanity and McCain and Lieberman should be recognized as the treasonous scum that they are, for it. Though there are many threats to our freedom, for now, this isn't one of them. Don't be suprised if it's not reintroduced in the future though.

You tell me how one incident sparks all this chaos, as if they have ants in their pants & are running out of time. All of a sudden over night they are running Mcarthy witch hunts & paranoia frenzies. It is a level of pathological psychosis aimed at sparking the very civil unrest you would hope that they would want to prevent. While they purposefully agitate an open wound. Lets take a reality check here. Our govt. are cocaine & heroin dealers. Do you think a drug cartel are good people out for your best interest?? These guys are scum of the Earth. 9/11 was an inside job. I'd support Ron Paul, but how am i suppose to trust one man to fight a global mafia. Further, all rights are given to you by your creator, your birth right as a human being and one of the people who vests government in it's limited authority. There is no transfer of power, merely a consent to grant limited power.
Since your rights are given to you by your creator and all men are created equal, congress can not enact your rights, grant your rights etc. The Bill of Rights is legislation, not constitution. Show me what article and title each amendment is even applied to

All I can say is, read the constitution and you will understand why public servants fear it like Dracula fears the cross while always using the Bill of Rights as a political weapon. The Bill of Rights is completely fraudulent, the constitution does not vest government with the authority to create laws over the people or, add new components to the constitution.
An amendment in any legal dictionary prior to the 1930's was a correction or revision, not an addition or creation.

The biggest concern isn't as much the legislation, but the dangerous trend of redefining terms in the mainstream media. We see our own president make reference to those who opt-out of TSA scanners as being "domestic extremists", our supreme court judges calling gold/silver coin dealers "terrorists", a word that also recently defined those who challenged the raising of the debt ceiling. See, you don't need to become a terrorist, you can simply wait for "terrorist" to become you.
