I'm pretty sure they go through hell so that you don't have to and they fight wars that are the wars of this country and unless you don't live in America that makes it your war too.
Obviously you have no idea of what the training is like they go through. I've had friends that went to Iraq and said that they were less afraid of being on the battlefield being shot at rather than being in basic training. That shows how hardened they had to become. I'd love to see you even attempt it.

im playing these songs for my bf and he was in the marine boot camp during the vietnam war and he still remembers these songs although they make him cry because back then they could abuse you so bad.. he remembers it like yesterday and he got hurt real and broke his back and neck and is almost paralyzed any day now.. and the VA doesnt help worth of shit... they can care less... i hate them! but i love my marine!!! semper fi!

Vietnam was over 20 years ago, after that long the injuries have already set in and there isnt much you can do. i think the us marines are good people just like all the members in any of the miltary branches. in the netherlands we also got marines and the training is pretty tough but their training is not available for women so if i have served in the dutch army i am planning to emigrate to america and join the usmc to become one of the few and the proud.
