I think Ricki just has some actual respect for normal looking average people, and resents all the superficial bullshit pressure put on people like him to turn into Tom Cruise and get plastic surgery as soon as he has some dough.
I say go for it and feel good about it if you're losing weight for your health and trying to have a better life, but fuck you guys for expecting him to do it to please YOU. He's right, fuck America's ridiculous beauty expectations.
