I found it hard to find storage draws under $20 here in New Zealand but I got one as a investment coz they are so helpful for my makeup storage etc.

We have always used shoe boxes for storage but never thought about decorating it. I think it would also make a great gift box like that. I remember several times as a kid I would open up a gift and get disappointed because it was a blender box but mom wouod say, no that is not a blender, there is something else inside. LOL

As far as the organization, I am sooo bad at just putting things wherever and spend too much time looking for things.

I also like your dress.

That happened to me as kid too! Except, I unwrapped what I thought was going to be a pair of brand new Nikes, but was soooo disssapointed when I opened the box. =0( Talk about let down. lol

May I also add that for the shoe box you can used spray black spray paint (from the dollar store of course) on the outside and add some fancy ribbon (silver/gold) along the top for a chic/glam look.

But any color will do. :D

My closet has lots of boxes that have been spray painted an it looks great.

Love the video! I have all my stuff organized the same way...I have a whole other set of organizers for my makeup. My husband calls me crazy for storing all the boxes I get from shopping, I use them to mail xmas and bday gifts and to organize!

I use the clear plastic shoe container to store my things. I purchased it from Family Dollar to organize my things. It only cost $1.25 . I considered the clear plastic drawer but it wasn't large enough for all my things. But I'm loving your fabric shoe box. You have such great ideas.
