The gun smoke doesn't really bother me with this mod. It's more of just a minor annoyance.

A bigger issue is some of the weaknesses of the weapons. Like the auto-pistol. It seems kickass enough, but can jam. Sometimes constantly. This forces you to hit reload to clear the jam and continue firing. But sometimes it can jam every 2-3 shots, it's very random.

This can make a fight with something as weak as an imp into a battle for survival as the gun jams repeatedly.

Realistic, at least. :P

Horray for Wild Weasel! I got this wad and my favorite weapon has to be the Parabellum Pistol. It has a nice firing rate so you can mash on the buttons while shooting like, 3 bullets a second o_o

This mod is so f-ing awesome! I love it. Fantastic wad. It's too bad it won't work with skulltag on multiplayer correctly. :( (I mean, it appears to work for the host, not sure about clients but there's a bug with the reloading mechanism in multi)

awesome, but the smoke looks like a real bitch to deal with. otherwise, it kicks supreme ass. you should check out gzdoom advanced. its a really nice engine mod that tosses in lighting, alt-fire, and reload systems, plus the weapon sprites look pretty nice.
