At least I'm not the only one who thinks LD50 was a classic and it went downhill from there. In the beginning they really pushed the envelope, you couldn't hear that bass anywhere else. The drums were also original, I read Matt was into electronic music and heavy IDM shit at the time. Now they sound like everything else. I stopped listening to metal because of that, about 8 years ago. Every fucking song sounds the same, metal bands just stopped trying to change the form.

yeah i really got to agree slipknot is good, so is stone sour. but corey really let stone sour out into his slipknot mentality but overall in my opinion mudvayne is jut better they are doing what takes 9 guys to do. and the sad thing is melodically greg is a better guitarist and ryan is 10 better on bass than paul has ever been. im looking more at the artisitcabilities and not the sound.
