it's a system of my own design. The cylinders are for industrial use in a factory. The compressor is a Viair unit, and the tank is actually a one gallon unit used on Semi-trucks. Basically it was peiced together to fit what I needed. You'll have to figure out what you need and plan accordingly.
Okay thanks for the reply I found your thread on this build at XS-650 Garage and I'm reading how you built your bike right now. Saw this link in your post. I just got done monkeying around with my XS650 and came inside cause it got windy.
The bike is up and running now. There is slack in the chain when it's in the down position, but when it's aired up it rides like a rigid, so there's no give and thus no slack when riding. Works like a champ :)
@96supercharged: Hey, cool design! Have you thought of using a spring loaded chain tensioner (similar to ones used on fan belts for cars)? This will allow you to adjust ride height without the worry of a slack chain. Just a thought.
sorry but thats a bobber not a chopper, and by the way doesent that up and down screw with the cain or belt ststem,

couldnt you use the hollow frame as an air tank?? just wondering...

What kind of air suspension did you use there? Could you send me a message on what you used to build that, I would like to do that to my bobber.

You could add a tensioner to the frame so you can ride it slammed. Looks like Mimba Cylinders. Pretty Neat.

just at question but with it being basically like a 2 link on a car.. what are you doing about your chain/belt tension with that much travel?
