im realitively new to the CoD scene, and im about to give it a try. should i get CoD 4 modern warfare or CoD WaW? I heard CoD4 is amazing, and no one seems to say otherwise. however, with cod WaW, there are a lot of people saying it sucks and its not as good.

Well the single player story mode for both games was amazing and the online play is almost the exact same in both games... What it really comes down to is persional prefrence, what do you like. The only real reason people say CoD4 is better is because it did it first and/or they like the modern feel to it better. Also there have been a lot of WW2 games done so it may be getting a little old now.

I couldn't tell you how many people are playing either game now, have too many other games to play.

In my opinion, World at War is the better game, everything from presentation in the menus, the layout and cut scenes are superior. The game play in more or less identical in both games but I think most people p[refer Modern Warfare becasue the weaponry available is more hi tech. Besides that, myI have both and my jaw dropped at times whilst playing the WAW campaign and the zombie mode is brilliantly done and much more fun than i thought it would be:)

@JontieDesario yeah dude, I rented WaW when it came it, it was my first time playing cod and it was really fun, I bought MW2 during x-mas break but didnt find it that great, the perks and the attachements are awesome but other than that Idk.. I like the feel of old guns and stuff =\

I'm assuming that by "cant run it' you donl't mean that your computer just isn't bult enough to run it... Maybe try reinstalling BunkBuster.

What does "beta" mean? I don't know what a beta mode is.

Before a online game is put out to sell they so a beta release to the select public. These people play through kinda a demo or a watered down version of the actuall game and report any bugs that they might find. This way they don't end up on the final release and there are no recalls and what not.

If you manage to get it near them it stuns them for a second or two. After that you can use it as cover, they won't see you untill it's too late.

in WAW online play,do u get custom weapon slots with weapon perks? (like in COD 4)

Yes you do.

In WAW you can start creating your classes at lvl 4,you start of with 5 classes just like in COD4:MW,however as you prestige in WAW you unlock extra custom slots

e.g

custom slot 6_unlock at 1st prestige

custom slot 7_unlock at 3rd prestige...

To prestige you have to get to level 65 now.

There are now vehicle perks aswell to help with shooting and moving the tank.

There are the same cod4 perks and added ones.

who new arsenal of weapons aswell.
