1st demo test chamber = ch 8 chamber 2 (minus turrets, the laser, and the chapter 1 look, plus the bottomless pit)

2nd demo test chamber = ch 2 chamber 5 (with faith plates rearranged)

@Sm00thJAzzer It was cut from the final version because the game testers said it was too hard. The final version is also a lot easier than the version presented at E3. The walls were you can shot a portal at are cut to a minimum, reducing the amount of effort you have to put in the game to solve the puzzles.

I can't believe how much they cut from the final version of the game, all the graphics have been completely toned down, most of the cool effects have gone, and the levels look like crap compared to these :/

Where were all these levels in the game? Were they cut? I was hoping for a real challenge. :( I love Portal, but they didn't build up the levels like the first one. Towards the end of the first you were combining elements to finish a level, this one didn't combine that many (ie. the goo etc.) - well for me anyway.

All 3 levels were kept, but modified. The first one occurs near the end of the game and has you use the excursion funnel to place a box on a switch (where the laser is) and lacks the turret.

The second one seems to be a trimmed-down version of the one with all the faith plates.

The third one is in chapter 2 and doesn't include turrets.
