Yeah i found out about a few picking techniques from a friend today. One is chicken picking and the other is iban picking, which Rustey Cooley came up with, but from the description i was given they'll both be very hard. No i'm from Scotland =/

@ThatGuitaristDude Haha I appreciate your words, man, Thank you. It's actually not that hard of a solo to be honest. Practice lots! practice, practice, practice and you'll get there, dude :) One thing people always seem to do wrong is tense up when they play and that's what stops them from getting better. Best thing to do is warm up playing some scales really slow and really relaxed with no effort :)

@cybersnake I can sweep but only 4 strings (sometimes 5 but only for a few songs) and can't tap while i'm doing it but once i have that mastered there's nothing else i want to learn
