  • God i love steve smith. Ever since 2001 when i first watched him when i was five, he was and has been my favorite player. He has more drive, passion, and love for the game than any other player ive seen in the NFL. He makes every play hes involved in fucking intense as hell, i always get chills when watching him play. He'll always be #1 in my book

  • Steve Smith Fan Forever! Yo! These Guy Got Skills!

  • this guys is a beast who says short people cant play football

  • Best Wide Reciever In the NFL and Future Hall of famer

  • Steve Smith is a BEAST!

  • About time someone saved Steve Smith!! Cam Newton!!

  • This video shows how much Steve Smith bailed out Jake Delhomme throughout his career. Most of those throws were to double coverage.

  • /watch?v=6Xpt0YBb1dU

  • @ReddRosevelt love that interview man. Shows the type of player Smitty is. Its what makes him great.

  • @SteveSmithTD89 couldnt have said better myself :D

  • beast!!!!!

  • They said he would be nothing more then a punt returner, cam newton its your turn. Steven smith feels you thats why hes staying.

  • best WR in NFL handsdown!!!!!

  • So the Ravens just released Derrick Mason.. could Steve Smith come to the RAVENS?! :D

  • @rsTHEKINGHHHrs

lol... I wanted to be the first Ravens fan to ask that... haha. Seems im always beaten too it! GO RAVENS

  • Steve Smith is such a beast he never drops anything the ball ends up in his hands no matter what. Possibly the best in the NFL. One problem though.....No QB

  • the only thing im concerned about if he goes to SD, hes 5'9...

  • @graveyard090 .....because that has held him back so long throughout his career right? lol. The more and more you people doubt Smitty, the more and more he proves you wrong. He's Steve Smith. His will, determination and drive are what separates him from every other WR in the NFL.

  • @SteveSmithTD89 im not doubting his abilities, its just that philip rivers is so used to throwing it up to his 6'5 recievers, so if we added a 5'9 reciever, it could possibly throw off his game.

  • @graveyard090 Philip Rivers is in the NFL and considered a top 10 QB for a reason. I'm sure he could learn to lower his trajectory a little...

  • @graveyard090 Wich club is SD?

  • @PAJAJA33 chargers

  • @graveyard090 no worries, he'll be going to the ravens (:

  • @graveyard090 no he is actually 6'0

  • @graveyard090 He plays as big as anybody in the league. Cant knock his size if he can go up with any db.. hes a beast and as abolts fan since day 1 Id love to have him here. One better receivers of the decade without question

  • @Clmt09 yeah your right. ive been studying him more and looked at more highlights, and he is legit. plus with a huge chip on his shoulder from the superbowl loss, having him with the chargers who at this point have done it all except get a superbowl championship would be dangerous. i hope we do get this guy!

  • @graveyard090 Smitty isn't going anywhere.

  • I miss Delhomme

  • You ruined this with Hoobastank

  • He is my most favorite icon in the nfl

  • This guy needs a QB to give him the ball. Year after year I want to cry when I see him jogging these stupid routes. Rivera better turn this shit around.

  • All raider fans - Read it

When Smith was asked if the Raiders were specifically one of the teams he might wish to play for is he was not in the Panthers' future plans-

"Every entertainer in the process of their job has a vision of performing in front of their home crowd, especially if they live farther away from home," Smith said. "I have always loved the privilege and the honor of playing in the state of California. But I don't desire to be employed by every team in the state of California."

  • @SteveSmithTD89 I have the article link to with an ACTUAL source if any of you want it...

    profootballweekly(dot)com/2011/05/10/panthers-smith-addresses-trade-talk-future-in-caro

  • @SteveSmithTD89 hahah wow, what in insult to the raiders!!! hahah!

  • you know, this dude is hella short, but if it's a one on one situation, it feels like he'll definitely come up with the ball

  • future charger!!

  • come to the chargerzzzzzzzz

  • He's a RAIDA!

If the Raiders pick this guy up, that would make the Raiders unstoppable. You may not agree because you may be stuck in the past. But even the Raiders FB Marcel Reece is a huge threat.

Jason Campbell has a strong arm and good composure. He can be a franchise QB. Trust me, the guys I don't like or believe in, I don't want them. The guys I do is because they have potential.

Hue Jackson coaching, SOLID D, a better O-line, dmac, and smith will be a FORCE in the NFL.

  • @thrash0cycle Raiders don't get anyone who is older, you know that, they went out and got a young qb, all speed on D, got rid of Charles Woodson to Packs when he got older, and now Nnamdi is being let go cuz he's getting older, so Al won't get Smith, the Chargers are the #1 team that want him..... and the Raiders biggest weakness is the O Line so you won't be unstoppable (sorry)

  • @LearTheBeast

What? They don't get anyone who is older? You mean like Richard Seymour? The D is not all speed. They are actually very good players no one knows about. Tyvon Bramch will be a household name at Safety. The reason they are letting Nnamdi go isn't because he is "older" is because Nnamdi is EXPENSIVE. And also, the weakness you mentioned is being fixed this off season. All we need is a vet like Steve Smith.

"Don't get anyone who is older" don't make me laugh. They do get veterans.

  • @thrash0cycle "EXPENSIVE"?? you can't be serious?? didn't Al Davis just sign Stanford Routt (yes i said Stanford Routt) to a 5 year multi million dollar contract that he could easily pay Nnamdi with?? and ok i forgot Richard Seymour, other than him, there are NO old starters on both sides of hte ball (old as in at least 8 years in the NFL)

  • @LearTheBeast ummm... You do know that Stanford Routt is a very good player right? He does have the lowest completion percentage right behind Darrell Revis. And who cares, he's building a young team. A young Superbowl team. Of course he is going to bring guys who can lead. That's why he brought in Wimbley, Seymour, Campbell, and is now paying Stanford Routt starter money.

Al doesn't want a bunch of old players. He wants young, with vet leaders. Smith would be perfect.

  • @thrash0cycle no he doesn't, he has the most pass deflections behind Revis and that's only because no qb throws at Nnamdi, the stats don't tell you how many times he's given up huge plays and easy passes, or how many penalty yards he is responsible for (which is a lot for Stanford)..... you cannot defend tthe fact that Al is an idiot for letting a future HOF go in Nnamdi and slapping Nnamdi in the face by signing Routt with so much money

  • @LearTheBeast

Sure Routt has gotten burned. All CBs have. A big reason is because teams pick on Routt and use star WR's as decoys for Nnamdi. Still, under the most pressure than any other CB in the league (yes, I said it.) He has prevailed and can be a very solid starter for years to come. He is FAST, and has developed behind Nnamdi. He will only get better. He is no rookie. His day will come and his last name will become a play on words.

  • Steve Smith wants to be in Black and Silver!

  • @raider123456789123 lol.... not a snowballs chance in hell

  • @SteveSmithTD89 thats not what he said. said he wanted to be a raider yesterday and out of carolina.

  • @idontnoapassword No... an "unnamed league source" said he said he wanted out of Carolina and to be traded to the Raiders OR chargers.... He isnt going to Oakland. He isnt going anywhere. Carolina is not going to let their top playmaker and face of the franchise walk for chump change. No team is going to take a chance on Smith and his contract. This story surfaced on PFT and Football News Now.... neither list a credible source or are a major news industry. Its simply a website trying to get

  • @SteveSmithTD89 hits on their page by thinking "hmm.... disgruntled receiver.... he cleaned out his locker (it couldnt possibly be because he wanted his bleongings before he was locked out could it.... nah...) he put his home up for sale....two years ago.... (because he wanted to find a new neighborhood with more children in it for his kids and that he said. Thats straight from the mouth.) he must want out of Carolina.... All this shit started becasue Jay Glazer on fox said the the Pats SHOULD

  • @SteveSmithTD89 try and make a trade for him. Thats when all this speculation even started. Dont get me wrong. I can't say that I would blame him for wanting out. After the closed door meeting with Mr. Richardson though and all the off season coaching moves, bringing back richy prohel to coach, hiring Chud who is a big time air it out guy and then the hiring of graves, smittys college coach and someone hes pushed for them to hire for some time now I think the writing on the wall shows he is

  • @SteveSmithTD89 more inclined to stay. The drafting of a "blue collar" qb in Cam just kinda tops it all out. Again, he very well might leave. But for him to say anything about demanding a trade or wanting to play for another team is way out of his character. He is vocal, but on the field. I'll believe it when I hear it straight from his mouth. None of this "he said that he said that she said that my cousins friend said" bull shit from an unreliable source.

  • @SteveSmithTD89 not to be an asshole but i saw it on espn, so would that count as a reliable source? id love to see this man in silver and black!

  • @fuentesf51 No. Odd as it sounds it isnt. Do you remember the fiasco with the lockout being lifted and their coverage of it? ESPN got a hold of a "falsified report" from PFT that clained the lockout was lifted. During that time the ruling had yet to be made and ESPN scramblde to cover their bases by changing their story and headlines to read that the lockout had yet not been lifted as earlier stated but that it might soon. The same thing happened with Sal Palantnoio covering the Cowboys

  • @SteveSmithTD89 back in 08 I think it was. Maybe it was 07... it was the season when all the T.O and Romo drama was boiling over and Sal Pal said that an "unnamed source" disclosed details of a fued between the two. Jerry Jones, Wade Phillips. Romo and everyone else told him to name his source, because there was no fued. He couldn't. ESPN is a joke. "Unnamed sources" is just a fancy way of saying speculation. Could it happen? Sure, but I wont believe it till I hear it from Smith.

  • @SteveSmithTD89

Actually he said he wanted to play for the Raiders or Chargers....

He is from Los Angeles, and Played Football at SMC with Chad Ochocinco.

Wouldn't doubt if he wanted to come back.

  • @TheNastyShitler exactly! especially when he knows he's reaching the end of his career and his body has been getting even more beat up due to the lack of a steady QB situation with the panthers, and trust me newton does not help! SILVER AND BLACK BABY!

  • @SteveSmithTD89 Can u see the future?

  • @raider123456789123 No... I cant, but I do know enough about journalism to know when a website produces an ariticle without a named source that it is generally bogus. Sports reporting today is all about throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks.

Its no coincidence that Smitty gets back from his vacation and immediately reaches out in an interview and calls BS on almost everything thats happened. Also, said he DOESN'T want to play for the chargers. I'll let that sink in for you.

  • @raider123456789123 no he wants to be in powder blue

  • @raider123456789123 no he wants to be in powder blue

  • Could be in New England next season.

  • @rick9565 HOPEFULLYYYY, but you gotta think he would get more yards/ stats in san diego, but hed win in new england.... both would help his hall of fame bid though

  • people say this guys not that great, he won the triple crown with jake delhomme as his quaterback. the only other 2 to do it: jerry rice and sterling sharpe, that alone is hall of fame, they had bettter quarterbacks too

  • waste of talent, along with calvin johnson and fitzgerald

  • steve smith has a glitch in madden 08 lol its a cheat. he beats multiple defenders on streak routes. its so funny . no one can stop him in madden 08

  • whats the song name?

  • Steve smith is the beast cant wait for next season Go Panthers!!!!!! :)

  • fuck u u gotdamn nigger quit bitchin

  • Let him come to a winner N O SAINTS baby!!!!

  • Hope oakland picks him up next year we need a good WR like him

  • i feel so srry for this guy.... no qb... if he had someone like tom brady hes getting that 2000 yd season

  • @alan48085 I know, i remeber the NFC Championship game vs. the bears a few years back he was triple covered and nobody else on the panthers could get open. If they never let musin muhammed go they would have won at least 1 champsionship before delhomme self destructed.

  • @alan48085 haha i look at tim brown. he had qb's throw for a total of 1,800 yards in a season and catch for 1300 yards. imagine if that guy at manning on his side.

  • @alan48085 how about Philip Rivers? LoL

  • @LearTheBeast as long as he doesnt have jimmy clausen hell be good

  • @alan48085 i know Carolina wants to move in a younger direction, but why would you get rid of your best player, fastest receiver, and one of the greatest of all time, who's still in his prime

  • @LearTheBeast carolina doesnt wanna but can they really keep steve smith happy in carolina.. i mean they have newton throwing to him now... NOT A GOOD IDEA

  • @alan48085 ya im not a panther fan but i got respect for steve smith. their getting cam neuton though.

  • Love Smith , but at 1:11 that wasnt much of a catch they forced eht yelling like he got a new world record its was straight up shitty D no body tackled him or even touched em as he caught the ball and fell to the ground he got tackled afterwards .

  • steve smith should come to baltimore, he has the heart and still some gas left, more importantly we have a good qb and could get him the ring that he deserves, oh and a replacement for derrick mason STEVE SMITH 2 BALTIMORE

  • when i watch 2:22 on tv i just witnessed beast mode activated

  • it makes me sick to my stomach to think that he might not be on the panthers next year

  • @WhyHateThaWestCoast I know, Steve will go down as one of the best WRs in Carolina, and in history, he really deserves to go in the HOF.

  • @WhyHateThaWestCoast If we lose smith we can always draft AJ Green.

  • @2:47 that dude must have had at least 100 pounds on him and he still de-cleated him that dudes a beast

  • Steve Smith suffered from the Barry Sanders affect. Barry would of been hands down the best RB ever and shattered every RB record if he had a dominate O-line, no argument. If Smith had Brady, Peyton, or a Rodgers type QB to feed him the ball...he would be unstoppable. Only thing thats not elite about Steve is his height, but he makes up for it with heart.

  • randy moss is great for down the field catchs and thats about it smith can do any route really well moss not so much

  • I meant the Giants steve Smith...... Ohhh...

  • there lucky to have steve smith on there team

  • @lukeandeddie20 the panthers are nothing

  • I LOVE STEVE.!!!!<3 OH GOD MARRY ME

  • the panthers fucking blow this year

  • i saw steve smith yesterday at the mall lol

  • He punched Ken Lucas in the face and broke his nose

  • damm my cousin is a beeaast!!! cant wait to meet him at the next family reunion.. hopefully he shows up much love tho

  • @quelpoppin lol good try

  • This Guy Is super Freaking Beast Yo

  • It Doesnt Matter what Anyone says I mean Steve Smith is 5 Foot something and can still Moss Someone 6 Feet

  • @WaRxGamingNetwork steve smith is 5'9 while moss is 6'3 crazy how he accels at the wr position is he going to get to come back to carolina i remeber he got hurt at the saints game an they rolled him out on the cart what happened to him

  • Moss is a great athlete, a good receiver HOF in the future. One, if not the best, hands ever seen in the NFL. But if Jake Delhomme, David Carr, Vinny Testaverde, rookie Matt Moore was his QB all in one season, that season he would be a mystery

  • Moss is overrated. In his prime all he did was beat defenders deep cause of his speed. They just threw it deep all game long. Smith does it all. Break tackles, do end arounds, beat you deep, out jump you, go across the middle. Show me one Moss highlight better than Smith breaking like 6 Texans tryna tackle him all the way to the endzone. When Moss was in Oakland he didnt do shit for a reason. Smith always had average Jake, went through like 5 diff QB's in 07 and still got over a 1,000 yards

  • @mkvl1490 you talk like beating defenders deep because of your speed isn't a talent. it's a very important talent for a receiver and it shouldn't be used AGAINST a player when arguing how talented he is. that's just ridiculous

  • k guys lets get real. smith is an awesome receiver. but whoever says he is better than moss has obviously never seen him in his prime and forgot about his 23 touchdowns in 07

  • Moss has hands and height but what Steve Smiths lacks in height, he makes up with yards after the catch.

  • Steve Smith does everything Randy does and better at 5'9

  • falcons fan but i love steve simth (no homo) that guy is great! i wish roddy white was as explosive as him....really i wish any of our players were as explosive as steve

  • steve smith is great

  • hes on my fantasy football

  • This what i do in football

  • steve smith my favorite player.

give steve smith good qb its over

  • @TheyCallMeAce17 I Swear

  • A TRUE WORROIR WILL GIVE HIS RIGHT ARM FOR WHAT HE LOVE. SLIZZLE

  • @Mrtslizzle or left it was one of them Lol. get well soon homie

  • I hate Steve Smith because I'm a Saints fan and he always have a damn great game against us, I hate to say it he's the best receiver in the NFC South.

  • Steve may not have as many touchdowns as Randy Moss or anybody else but nobody can take away that he is a Hella Good Player

  • please, to everyone replying to "TheGreatRandyMoss" dont... He is a worthless troll who goes around on every video of any receiver not named Moss and talks shit. Don't give this ignorant, worthless and down right pathetic individual anymore attention than he gets. He is a self righteous prick who refuses to accept any logical or statistical evidence that Smith, Andre or Fitz are all top receivers in the league. Just ignore this little shit and he will fade, just like Randy Moss.

  • @SteveSmithTD89 what are teh rules and regulations of the game?

  • @SteveSmithTD89 i agree partially! Steve Smith is my favorite player in the NFL! Yes he is cocky and everything you want to say about him but that comes with playing football everybody talks trash! He is, I think the most fearless WR out there, he will catch anything that is thrown to him! So get your SHIT right..

  • @BluMo92 I'm a ravens fan, but i am a huge smith fan too. Like if you watch this vid the ball is just chucked up in his area a lot of times and even tho he is short he always comes down with it. I wish he was on the ravens, but hes always unlucky with inuries when the panthers are good or stuck on shitty panthers team. Dude deserves a championship

  • @janitormopmop Im a ravens fan but a stewart fan lol

  • @TheGreatRandyMoss84 i aint hopin on the bandwagon but randy moss never really had a good run game so they passed alot... and he has had some good quterbacks in his years smith has had a horrible 1

  • @TheGreatRandyMoss84 There are 2 things to look at here. Moss has had much better QB's to work with than Smith and is also 6'4" to Smith's 5'9". Love Smith he's the man. But Moss is great.

  • @TheGreatRandyMoss84

then again, consider who's had the better qb and offense in general..lol no doubt i'd put randy moss ahead of steve smith but you can't talk smack like that when he has tom brady as his qb

  • @TheGreatRandyMoss84 LOOK WHO HIS QB WAS LOL NOT SAYING HE IS BETTER THEN YOU BUT HE IS NOTHING WITH OUT AN HATER ON HIS BACK.......................................

  • @TheGreatRandyMoss84 LOOK WHO HIS QB WAS LOL NOT SAYING HE IS BETTER THEN YOU BUT HE IS NOTHING WITH OUT AN HATER ON HIS BACK.......................................

  • @TheGreatRandyMoss84 The best will always have and hater. I mean you wouldent hate on somebody who wouldent be doing nothing right?

  • @TheGreatRandyMoss84 ... I can just tell you don't know shit about football... Look who Moss had as his Quarterback the last 3 years... TOM BRADY... Steve Smith Never had any great QB... he had Jake Delhome... and by the way... You said Steve Smith is weak? lol... You're an idiot... He's stronger than Moss... Steve Smith is actually one of the strongest WR's in the NFL right now, shit face.

  • maaan not cause im a Panther fan but i seen this guy play n the way he is on the field, hes number 1, like seriously i kno alotta ppl gonna think im crazy but look at the other highlights and Smith, Smith is the best reciever in the game rite now, thumbs up if u agre or thumbs down

  • i doubt your going too readd thiss buutt stevee youu are my hero i am a freshmen up in alaska c team starting #1 reciever your my biggest role model by far thanks to you my life is the reciever life.

  • i love how he has so many highlights in double cov so much respect for this guy. if he had randy moss height hes be 1000 times better and the #1 receiver

(or close race with andre j and b marsh)

  • steve smith is 1 of da few star wrs in da nfl who actualy hussle and give der heart out on evry play. now its all bout da money. i wish he played on a contending team. hes a nigga i look up too and DAMN he looks good in a panthers uni no homo.

  • Jake Delhomme owes millions of dollars to Steve Smith. Imagine the numbers this cat would have put up if he played with Manning, Brees, Rivers....etc. Probably the most underrated WR in the NFL.

  • I live In Dallas but I am a Carolina Panther Fan and this brother is one of the reasons why- not flashy like the cowboys but real

  • anyone that doesnt have some amount of respect for steve smith is goin to hell >:D

  • Steve Smith,. . .In My Opinion In The Top 10 For Best NFL Receivers Rite Now

  • @anopmen Right Now definately. I don't think its a stretch at all to say Best of the past 10 years, and considering everything he does, Possibly top 10 All-Time. What other receiver has laid a block on a DE that took him off his feet and made him bounce? What other receiver, let alone one thats 5'9" would even Try?

  • watching this guy in week in 2002 you knew he was going to be special after returning a kick off for a touchdown against the vikings!

  • STEVE SMITH IS A BEAST!

i hope he stays with the panthers till he retires

  • @justinquigley36 @ least this guy is 20x better class than bitchass floyd mayweather! opinion please!

  • @1992lance hell yea!

  • @justinquigley36 what if 185 lb steve went head on and bulldozed 147 lb floyd?! haha!

  • What I love about Steve Smith is that if you don't take him down while he's catching the ball YOU WILL PAY DEARLY. He gets so many YAC with his explosive acceleration and speed, insane balance, and surprising power. Hopefully we have a QB in Moore or Clausen that can really get the ball to him.

  • 2:23-2:33 is the sickest play

  • haha! what was the defensive guy doing at 1:11?? "ahh i must retackle himm!"

  • @Prezants Well, he was saving a TD and also the game. Smitty fell on his own, wasn't downed by the defender. He doesn't make that tackle, well Smitty gets one more TD and the game ends quicker.

  • i love steve smith. triple crown yee!!!

  • go smith go panthers

  • He is the best

  • Comment removed

  • best wr in the league

  • STEVE SMITH is one of the ONLY players who still players the game, not for the money, but because its what he LOVES to do. One thing that pisses me off the most is players that play for the money. If they aren't satisfied or the team is losing, they won't give it 100%. I don't care what anyone says about his attitude or his cockiness, he is the only one willing to give 100% EVERY play and break an arm so that his team will win.

  • Comment removed

  • one of the best to play the game

  • the one at 2:08 and 2:24 are amazing. only he could pull those off. also his touchdown celebrations are sweet

  • I'm from Scotland, we aint so big on NFL here, (dunno why!!?, lol) and I have loved 89 since I watched Superbowl 38. Panthers should have won that game and respect to Steve Smith

  • For a 5'9, he can still get up there.

  • This guy makes NFL defense's look like JV high school teams. I mean, this dude makes plays in NFL games that look like they're coming from a street ball video. Not to mention he's a straight gangster. I remember Rodney Harrison knocked the shit out of him and tried to dog him, and SMith jumped right up, thumped his chest and told Harrison to fuck off. Lynwood's finest.

  • probably the only 5'9 185 lbs guy who can hit like a freight train

  • brandon mashall is the best

  • um no no and no Larry Fitzgerald is the second best reciever in the NFL try again

  • if there were a pound for pound list in NFL this dude is undisputed#1

  • Smitty is for me the best NFL wr!

  • lol at 2:47 - 2:52. :)

  • steve smith is the 2nd best wr in the nfl after ande johnson revis even said they are the hardest recievers to cover so smith is better than randy moss realy moss just sucks he is not evern the best wr on his team he is just good at the deap ball and but he gives up he is a shit on he does not even desirve a super bowl ring and he wont ever get becuse he does not work hard

  • @nyjets24xx Nice to see someone else who can shed some light on this, lol. The Revis comment cements the deal for me. Clearly a top 5 WR in this league still.

  • @SteveSmithTD89 panthers are my second team becuse of him he is my fav wr

  • @nyjets24xx Steve Smith is actually better than Andre because he's just as hard to tackle and his hands are under rated Andre johnson just makes himself more available which is the best ability a receiver can have, if he's open enough it doesn't even matter if he can catch or is easy to tackle, Andre johnson can catch though and is hard to cover and tackle and is always open despite him getting those 200 yard games over and over

  • @nyjets24xx You say that but you don't know him, don't say he doesn't work hard because I know for a fact because I had the opportunity to see Randy moss work out, it's THE most intense training by a nfl player since Ray lewis and sweetness. And seriously, be smart when have the jets played the patriots, when they did like in 07 and 08 Revis wasn't their number 1 corner they didn't even put him on Randy. Don't act like you know a players work ethic

  • @izuru67 ok he can have the best work out ever witch i know he does not. its the game that matters i rember in the pats panthers game he was doing bad so he just gave up.and he jogs his routs some times i know he is a good reciver but smith is better. one last thing smith had delhome and matt moore passing to him and moss has brady

  • @nyjets24xx so revis is god now and knows everything

  • @2upack33 Well, when you are THE BEST corner in the league and are given the chore of shutting down the opposing teams best players then yes, his opinion is quite weighted? Is he god? No, but does what he say qualify as a legitimate argument? Yes, and probably one that carries more value then any one of these so called "experts" on espn.
