  • Absolutely smashing son!

You sound like a very bright and passionate young man.

If you should ever find yourself down in Australia,

mind you look us up & come across for a hot meal.

    We've three sons & they're all daft!

    God bless then.

    Joey.

  • Thank you Joey ... sadly we won't be in Australia for some time to come. We never seem to be able to save enough money to go back. Its been 10 years since we visited and we'd love to return. One day. Thank you for your very kind comments. I am glad you liked the film. :0)

  • look at this country with so much potential, its a pity the likes of Nnfefe RAN AWAY to leave his people to suffer like this, that congolese refugee is hiding out in the states while his people are suffering . such a pity .

  • I'm 18 and really impressed by this video! This is a professional review of Congo. I enjoyed watching it, amazing. It gives a really good picture of a very complex country in just 6 minutes, I would'n't have done it better. If more ppl(especially politician's....) where like u the world would be a better place. Keep the good work up kid! Greetings from Holland.

  • My family and I have just this minute been talking about the problems in Africa. I am very frustrated that people can treat one another in such a way and that others just turn away. Please don't give up because even though a lot of us do not live in Africa we are still trying to listen to your voices.

  • wow, you are an amazing young man. Great job this video tought me alot!! :)

  • @Nemotona Alex, outstanding job narrating! You and your mom did a great job on this mini documentary. With continuing excellence, I have a feeling people around the world will know your name one day. From Texas USA

  • Selfishness, Greedyness and Corruption is the things thats killing Not Just DRC but the Whole Africa. Wake up ppl smell the Coffee. As long as this goes on, Africa will remain the same or even Worse. It Is such a SHAME that a CHILD, an outsider can outline this in 6 minutes while the Presidents In Powers for Years cannot see whats is wrong with this beautiful country! Such a Shame

  • I couldn't agree with u more. Nothing but a great respect for you. I am African Canadian and trust me, it is very hard to get most africans on the same page.

As a University student, i've tried to get my fellow Africans join me to raise awareness about issues such as illegal mining for illicit purposes such as war and HR violation. They are always arguing or saying there is nothing we can do about the issue.

I am not giving up. I

  • Nicely done, Alexander. I'm originally from the DRC and I'm really impressed that you were able in 6 minutes to present this country in a way that many wouldn't be able to. You covered the very essential and did a great job.

  • Very good, the truth comes out of children's mouth.

  • Well done Alexander I am very impressed, as also is Joseph (your buddy at school). Keep up the good work Melrose can justifiably feel proud of you

    Brian Pudner

  • I'm a multimedia specialist who has worked in education for the past ten years. After viewing your school presentation, I must say that I'm VERY impressed! One of the things that I really like is that your graphics, music, and scipt are completely in sync; this is so important when you are trying to convey a message that is both entertaining and informative. I've worked with many adults using multimedia who aren't able to coordinate these components. GREAT JOB! (Do you need a job?)

  • This is very impressive Alex. I'm going to show this to my college students to introduce them to the DRC. Thanks for sharing your great work!

  • Bonjour mon fils Alexandre.
