  • @900GTi Lol, nevermind I know now :P

  • what do you use for the drums?

  • Handy job eh, baggage handler. ;)

    Nice synths, camera sucks though.

  • WOW cool rhythm and i like the begging part the best as backing like the drums and the other part with the roland jupiter 8

  • Thanks for all the comments everyone! :)

  • sounds great man, love that old school synth sound!!

  • The Moog sounds amazing! what effects are you running it through?

  • nice vintage flavor of the arpeggiator of the Jupiter 8, and when that Mini sweeps.....O.K., there's nothing like it.......:D

I agree with Cds56's comment about envying minimoog owners ......:D

  • great stuff as always Angelo! I come check your JP8 vids when I get bummed about not finding one yet!

  • I envy all of you minimoogers. all of them who have their minis on youtube it is.

  • @Cds56: I was like you...until two days ago.

  • Keep em coming.....

Shuffle it all up a bit??

    Nice sound....

  • sick

  • Am I the only one who wants to rub their penis all over that gear? I mean it in a good way.

  • @freshtalent26 ....

  • nice setup!

  • Great sounds man, love the synth collection very nice indeed.Minimoog is a beast and the Jupiter 8 is the most gorgeous looking synth ever created.Well done, restoring them.

  • im looking for an analog synth with a pissed off tonality and good controls inexpensively. does that exist? comment if you know one that does

  • @UnchainTheNight1 @UnchainTheNight1 Yeah!if you want an evil, angry monosynth get a russian synth called the polyvox.

  • Excelent!!!!!

  • great improv, simple, effective catchy, not to mention all the vintage synths. Now, that is what I call having fun, great job mate, thanks.

    D.......:)

  • This is synth porn. Brutal sound. Love it.

  • Awsome! ..You my friend are one lucky f****r! love your synth set up!

  • love the jupiter 8 sounds just ready to churn out bobblin sequences, really catchy got me nodding is that lead of a korg ms10 love that to ooh & the clav,in fact shame you missed out that little vocoder synth that looks interesting but hey you are teasing us after all lol , really nice to hear instruments being played not just a crap demo on how to get sounds out of things,

  • Love the Buzzz of that Mini

  • I've never heard a clavinet sound like that

it's almost like a guitar there. really cool!

  • you have too many instruments. I am happy to take some keyboards or guitars on loan.

  • Thanks for all the comments!

  • Nice ;)

  • That is pretty impressive. The sound coming out of the Moog is really deep and cool sounding. I like how it slowly fades after you tap the key. And the Jupiter 8, that would be another awsome synth to have in anyone's collection. Isn't it amazing how vintage synths seem to hold up after all them years. They sound incredible Great work there man!

  • great collection of synths!! Stick to music your camera work in the first 2 minutes was making me queezy! =)

  • can you also make beats with the jp8?

  • awesome,........cheerrs from Southamerica,..FG

  • Hmmm...

I'm a working musician, always behind my bills. I got most of these synths in non-working condition and restored them myself. If I had money to burn I would burn it on vacations, which I haven't had for more than 10 years. Your comment is stupid and you're jealous.

  • @angelometz envy my dear friend.. of maybe some broke white trash not his family's fault.. ppl are ignorant or can't achieve what they want and get like that.. stuborn stupid.... You got great toys. and if you ever need a new neighbour. .lol message me.. :)

  • Great vid...love the patch on the mini.

  • uh... you know,ur a good musician!

  • I try!

  • lol !

  • wow great stuff mate :)

    bravo!!!

  • Thanks for listening!

  • Why all the guitar cases..? Great jam BTW.. ;^)

  • Thanks!

    I'm a guitar player.

  • WTF DUDE, where do you work

  • Great setup- great playing! Regarding the Arp Odyssey- is the MKII's Moog Filter really that much better than say the MKIII or MKI?

  • Tá faltando espaço na tua casa Angelo... se precisar de um depósito...

Muito bom o som. Em breve espero poder duelar contigo com um desses analógicos.

  • good stuff!

  • Thanks!

  • coole Session!!

  • Thanks for watching!

  • Very cool. I really dig the Jupiter 8 arp. How about a Jupiter 8 patch demo? Excellent!

  • Thanks!

    I'll demo some patches soon.

  • Advice please. I'd love to make these kinds of sounds with these kinds of synths, but my options are a tad limited. On the very smallest budget possible, would a Xiosynth be an acceptable replacement for a minimoog? It's quite tweakable, at least.

  • I'm not familiar with Xiosynth. What you want is an analog monosynth with 2 vcos and 1 lfo, or 3 vcos, preferably with a 24db lowpass filter. You'll find many synths that fit that criteria, each with it's own character, but all able to create basic "moogish" sounds.

  • incredible setup!

  • Thank you!

  • Nice groove on this one!

  • Thanks a lot!

  • All my synths are confined to the computer. What a great setup! To just walk up and start to knob twiddle in real life... wow. I just released an album under the name Gaijin Gnomon, album is named Dissonance and I use vintage synth programs all through it. Im pretty sure you can find it on itunes and others. Thanks for the killer demo of these fine vintage instruments. Im gonna check your site right now! Cheers!-GG btw: what organ is that? I just got a wurlitzer to replace my lowrey which died.

  • That is what I love about it. The very tactile interface. You feel like you are really playing beyond notes.

I think you're talking about the Clavinet. I have no organ(yet). It's a Honner Clavinet II.

    Thanks for your comment.

  • always love your work.. but that minimoog buzz just shows you that only a mini can produce that sound. the range of timbres in this video are magic

  • Thanks for watching!

  • cheese master

  • Cheese is ok, but no wine!

I'm more of a whyskey guy.

  • man that arpegiator groove is sooooooo awesome!!!!! man can we collab on a tune? for fun? please please send me this instrumental, I promise to send it back with some detroit electro flava.

  • nice tones... but... the clavinet or something else is out of tune!

  • Yeah!

  • I love the groove and arpegg. So John Carpenter!

  • Thanks!

  • you got all the synths I dream of owning one day. your arpegiator groove is tasty too.

  • It starts with a dream. Then you make the dream happen! It's possible. You'll have all the synths you want! Peace!

  • AMEN!

  • yea she uses the Roland jupitor 8 in her tours, she first uses it in the vma performance of no one check it out, i wish i can own i would do anything,,

  • dam that the Roland that Alicia keys be using lately, i which i can own one but i bet it expensive,,,:<

  • She uses the Jupiter 8? Cool!

The last two jupiters I saw on ebay sold for under U$ 3,000. I got mine for much less than that.

  • just got a drumtraks day before yestrday.. how do you make it trigger the arpeggiator like that?

in any case i liked it a bunch!

  • Hi!

There are different ways to go about it.

Don't use the clock out to trigger the arpeggiator. Use either the rim out(channel 2 out) or the metronome out. Drive the signal as loud as it goes. You have to use the time signature function to set the click rate as you wish.

    Have fun!

  • actually i have already done that, but without he time signature part .. ! !!i guess that solves it ! thank you very much!

  • ps.. THANKS!!! works like a charm!!!

  • Good stuff man, LOVE the sound on that mini 8)

  • Thanks!

  • de cuanto keri el cheque wn

  • R$120,000,000,000,000,000.00

  • As long as you don't lose the mini presets. :-)

  • That's is like losing your mind!

    Ehe!

  • I keep meaning to get around to making some little patch sheets...

  • that clavi's a quiet

  • Brilliant demo of the different character and timbre of those classic synths. an amazing job

  • Thanks!

  • nice setup :D how much did u payed for the jupiter 8?

  • Well bellow market price. I would NEVER be able to afford it at market price. It was a great deal! Thanks Alan!!!

  • I think you can boot up / reset the Jupiter 8 patches can't you????

  • I need the tape with the patches, or maybe a dowload. I'm looking for it right now. Then you just load the patches, assuming the battery is ok. I just got this jup and didn't have a lot of time on it yet.

  • i did a bit of research and apparently there is no factory reset which sucks dude, but yeah load um them tapes if you can find them

  • My tech has the presets. Next week I'll take it in for a check-up and loading the original patches

  • sexy time!

  • Nice setup, but, sorry to say that, I'm bit sad to see such great synths used at only 1% of their whole capabilites !

I don't have the money to get all these stuff in my room (too small room anyway :) but trust me, I know how to get a clavinet sound right and funky :)

  • That's a really nice setup and nice playing!

The Clav is unusual IMHO in your setup but your playing makes it work really well.

Is you Mini the earlier VCO bard version (six holes at the back) or the later one (nine holes at the back), sounds very phat indeed.....

    Thanks for posting!

    Mike

  • Thank you! I really like the funkyness of the clav. I like mixing things up. The mini has the 9 holes.

    Thanks!
