It is my strong opinion after spending a week with Pastor Shawn McBride at Hume Lake with over 500 high school students that every young person must hear him speak...Every student expressed after the retreat that the things Pastor McBride said changed their lives. Several weeks later, we are still benefiting from the impact of the Truth he conveyed to our students.
I'm 16 years old and I devoted my life to Christ about 5 months ago. My dad is an alcoholic and times at home are never easy. Slowly I was getting more and more unmotivated in prayer and reading my Bible but your message revived my faith. Instead of seeing my situation at home as horrible, I now see it as an opportunity to bring my family to God by example...Thank you for your words.
