Maggie and Tiger always included many neck bites. These neck bites release the pleasure hormone dopamine. Thus when dog bite each other on the neck they are bringing happiness to the mate. Maggie was young, she always left the dog park with a wet neck Not once in almost 14 years was Maggie ever injured from a neck bite :-0
