All I can say is there are two sides. the Marines had to fight the first battle under conditions that they did not like and the innocent people of Falluja got stuck in the middle. Mattis commander of RCT-1 he was reluctant to carry out his orders due to the fact this went against every goal he was trying to achieve at the time.. this was a hasty operation with poor planning as was the invasion in general.
falluja people are very violent and ignorant. why that brutality?? they killed four americans and pulled them down in streets and that's how the battle started. it was a very stupid and uncivilized manner. i am iraqi, by the way.
