Kids are still educated by age groups... when you have kids better at different subjects than other kids the same age, or different times of the day, or better in small groups or large groups or even on their own... we got to focus on every individual needs.
Crazy Fresco- I can also make towns on paper, using nano techno materials. Where all the kids black, white and yellow can eat nano chocolate made out of seaweed baby-sited by robots.
Not true, the situation he was talking about was in the context of the zeitgeist/project venus theory where in short people could live without the need for such jobs.
@csnowutube This is supposed to be an automated economy. Already it is harder and hard for people to get jobs because machines do work so much faster and cheaper. Already we produce more than what humanity needs to survive, that is why consumerism has developed, to make us buy what we don't need. With automation and shared public resources, Jacques is betting on machines one day essentially sustaining the world with minimal human contribution that will essentially be voluntary.
Jacques Fresco is a genius, he is truly one representative who understands what is needed for the future of the world and a visionary as well innovator as a futurist and i applaud people like him for existing and thinking and developing these amazing ideas which can one day perhaps change the world.
Utopia is fine, as there are numerous interpretations. Creativity driving a new world will be a Utopia - all we have to do is imagine it and let it/allow/drop our resistance to positivity. Actively turn away from the negative.
its funny to see someone who wants to be the architect of ideal interpersonal relations and resolve the issue of perfect society, actually spending pretty much most of his time by drawing UFOs and eliptical houses, rather than resolving moral and economical questions. Fresco wants to get rid of money and share the profit of the society? I wish he tried that in the Red Communes in China, where people ended up eating grass and rats or soviet agricultural "mechanization" that was a fatal disaster
@f4ust85 It takes people to build a country and people to build social order. That is what he is talking about. As far as the designs go they do have many positive attributes. Not sure I understand what your getting at with the rest of your statement though.
I find the title confusing, and probably I am not the first to point that out.
The Venus Project never claimed to be a utopia, it just tries to break with ideas that have proven not to work out on the long run, and to replace them with new ideas, which will probably also have their own, new child diseases which need to be handled when they appear.
The analysis ('diagnosis') done in the ZEITGEIST movement, by Peter Joseph and friends, is accurate and well-presented.
The 'prescription' of how this is to be changed as suggested in the VENUS PROJECT, by Jaque Fresco and others, is far too 'technocratic' ---- and needs major revisions and additions to become more 'humanised'.
Jacques Fresco avec son ami M.Gorbatchev et la Reine Béatrice pour la Charte de la terre... Liens évidents avec l'O.N.U. Ne vous laissez pas avoir parc ce traitre.
Of course none of that has to be paid for. No one has to produce and save and invest to able to afford to build whole cities on the ocean or anywhere else. It all just pops into existence because he says so. After he eliminates the free market and all money, he'll have a heck of a time getting the materials and the labor. But don't think about all that because he has pictures. If he didn't have nice pictures I be worried. I almost forgot about the free robots who build everything for us.
@MillionthUsername The clip unfortunately doesn't portray the incentives that people would have to build these things. These buildings or machines don't just "pop" into existence. It would be the result of many years of work toward automation, in a similar process that has been used to automate car factories. There are many side effects of getting rid of the monetary system and automation is only one of them. It's a deep topic and it doesn't help to focus only on automation or fancy buildings.
@henrikmk "There are many side effects of getting rid of the monetary system"
Starvation, for one. Automation is the result of continual capital re-investment and the profit/loss signals from the price system, not communist pipe dreams.
People who "get rid of " their money are not going to construct automated factories and cities. The
people who push such grossly incoherent economic fallacies are self-described "social engineers" engaged in "programming". They are ignorant of real economics.
before anyone takes this video as if it's a "pipe dream utopia" understand this, it is NOT a utopia, it is simply a much better system then what we currently have, we as human beings will never have any final frontiers, we can only do better than before. a laptop 10 years from now will be much better than our current one, and a laptop 100 years from then will be completely different, do sell yourselves short
@warobsessive Agreed, its evolution, A constant change in Inscentive! ^_^ So Jaques work changes, evolves like WE HUMANS DO (Hopefully I'll see this next year or in the next couple of years) Because I'm 19 years old, And when I get married, My children will love what inventions I have created, Instead of Airplanes from Jaques tale, I see Electrodynamic Field Generation System vehicles which can travel hundreds of thousands of miles per hour, without damaging the occupants inside! ^_^ Woot woot!
@arshdeep125 1 thing is certain. The current system of government/economics/industry, etc, is NOT sustainable for long term survivability of humanity. There must be a better way. I've read how under communism, there were chronic shortages of essentials, foreign to capitalism (unless you are poor). Surely e-inventory systems could alleviate that? Capitalism as a whole has less shortages, but more greed. Long term, a (democratic) resource based economy seems (interesting) the only way to go.
@arshdeep125 1 1 major problem with a resource based economy. It will NEVER happen as long as we live in a system dominated by greed, where the power belongs to the rich, who are able to influence policy & buy the government via lobbying (which the supreme court sees nothing wrong with). Basically, the rich/greedy will do whatever it takes to maintain there lifestyle & bottom line profits. There is little the masses/majority can do to change this. If they try, they'll be discredited & crushed
@enticed2zeitgeist I'm still not really following you. 1st off, technically, all the causes you've listed, can be construed as "UN-natural disaster", since they are brought about in some way, by man, right? I just really don't know what you meant by "what if the ecosystem collapses" & THAT bypassing greed/power. You ask what I think? I think it would increases them. The rich/powerful, greedily scrambling around to grab/control what they could. Is that what you mean, sort of?
@gjc82071 The greed/power system could be bypassed because in desperation, laws and civilized behavior evaporate. It's not money we eat, it's food, it's not money we live in, it's a home. That will all become very apparent when the systems that run that trick people into thinking money is a necessity of the system when really it just gets in the way. The power system can't function with out a strong societal belief in money.
dear Alex Jones fan, Money is a measure of effort over time. It's entirely possible for societies to suspend "belief in money" as long as effort or pooferies like supply or demand don't matter.
@Galt425 Alex Jones fan? I'm guessing that's an assumption of yours directed at me as an insult? I'm confused by your comment as well. Are you disagreeing or agreeing with me?
Also if you knew much about The Zeitgeist Movement you would know that Alex Jones is liked very little by people in the movement due to the way he treated Peter Joseph during an interview. I find Alex Jones to be an NWO nutbar who always seems like he's yelling at people so he can make media for his next DVD sale.
Todas las ideas de este señor son científicamente demostrables y viables. Utopía es vivir en esta "sociedad del monopoly", regida por un dinero que tiene el mismo valor que el del juego de mesa.
i am a mechanical engineer but i never heard a metal like this memory metal. i dont mean it can not be happend, i say it a very very big INVENTION. but this can not be permanent in moneytary system.
Having a "Utopia" is impossible..it's like saying the technology we have this instant is the best it will ever be, it just doesn't make sense, everything is in transition from your view, my views, to nature and everything around us..as Jacque has said: it's just a hell of a lot better than what we live within today!
if this guy is considered genius.. then I must have been a child prodigy, because i drew these same types structures as a kid and even into high school architecture and art classes...drawing good is one thing... implementing it is another... and without money is a true farce. a cashless society would not work because one group would sit idle while another group worked...what one person wants is not necessarily what another wants.
so he takes an architechts wages for his whole career , builds a cool little frame house with all that money, then asks others to work for free to build robots that will work and supposedly build new buildings for everyone...whos gonna be the first volunteer to sit in the hotter than hell aliuminum smelter to get the metal needed forthe second volunteer to toil...i mean volunteer to sit at a factory 12 hours a day to build the robot that will 'supposedly' build the buildings so the rest can tan
@2237lemon Exactly! I've been saying this since I ever heard about this Venus project nonsense. This entire thing is another attempt of the NWO to gather supporters and route them in the needed direction. This is worse than communism.
@Kinkoyaburi Why would this be worse than communism? And what's wrong about "communism" itself? It's not communism that is wrong, it's the people exploiting things that are wrong, just as with the capitalist system, monetary system, corporatism and so on.
@Clavera Because, my friend, some of us are greedy, selfish assholes, and for some reason the most greedy selfish assholes always need to dominate others. They always want to be first in any social system. The VP tries to convince people that there will not be privileged people, but the truth is it's impossible. Every time when few people are trying to dictate the way of living of millions others, social disaster follows. People are too different to live happily under one set of rules.
a disaster has to happen big time before they listen to jacque ........its not 2 far away wen a honda50 motorbike can wip a nations arse they will listen..????
all his ideas will be possible for an adrogynist asexual public of the planet as
esoteric n exoteric antrosophy with his senile disillusions of solipsism.
but hey florida is hot hot no testesterone and confabulation through american moral nihilizm and here you go jacques the utophian fresco for color by numbers

One person can change the world to make it a better place. Infact, it's the only to make a more beautiful future for mankind. If everyone just worked on their inner peace, there would be no wars (there would be diagreements, and so there should -who wants sameness?). Being an unconditional loving human being is the highest goal in the world.
@JordanPAT As cool and encouraging your words sound, it is completely irrelevant when dealing with... for example ... hunger. You can´t have inner peace if somebody is screwing up your hard work either. A social shift has to happen.
@gasto5 It is the basis of topics such has hunger. You create your own reality. You can help the starving children if YOU want to, and desire to.....though most people don't care, because the don't have inner peace.....they don't understand we are all one, and the child starving is YOU starving. It's basic physics....we are one energy.
@BrunoPeitl84 As I understand it, Jacque's faith is in pragmatism, living and working with the elemental principles of nature and providing means to mine all nature's talent. Utopia is believing a great future doesn't naturally organize along these lines. However, it's just one - albeit very brilliant - vision. From what I've seen, Jacque has a penetrating but congenial spirit - really enjoying hearing about this stuff.
Go to the venus project com and do some research on this guy. He never makes claims of 'Utopia' and even denies 'Utopia' himself. He does however offer some very valuable concepts for a better future. One without greedy bankers and corporations and a brighter outlook for the masses of people rather than the skewed class system we have.
I need to belive that this change is posible and this man give me this hope for a change! All the people need to know this man!Share this information whit your friends!
this will never live, it needs a catastrophe on earth, so those few that survives can build civilization from ground zero....but it is very unlikely that those who survive will have that kind of mind, more likely is that those few will wont to rule the world...money is corrupting us beyond recognition, it makes us vampires, bloodsucking animals, only looking for ourselves destroying everything in our paths to get material stuff
Memory metals could be used right now, he could patend the technology and make money from it. And maybe actually start building this utopia with the money he would make from the memory metal.
Why doesnt he make a mobile home out of his memory metal, he doesnt have to wait until we move into the sea, he could develop it now and transport costs of mobile homes would plummet making him memory homes the most sought after prefab homes on the market. It would be agreat start for TVP. So go ahead and make just one of these futuristic ideas you have. Dont just draw it actually make it, to the size and scale of your drawings.
Agreed your point is solid. That memory metal that he is talking about would make so much money. He would be able to finance this project or anything else if he wants.
yeah right, we are so related to the system that they even created a word to define that our dreams arent possible so we can keep slavering and sufering with this shit is happening outside without a chance to create something great. yeah lets keep giving up for them, all dreams are utopias anyway isnt it?
@luizbong Agreed! All we've ever heard all of our lives are anecdotal chiches like: "You can't change the world." "You can't change human nature" "It's god's will" "Suffering is a virtue" "Be grateful for what you have" "Millions of people can't all be wrong."
We have to realize that our very cultural values & economic systems are made up...and they're not set in stone. It's hindering us from making progress and causing undue suffering and destroying the planet from mismanagement.
@blaziermissy You hit it right on the fucking head. Sorry for the profanity, but you took the thoughts in my mind that have collected for the past 15 years, and put them into words. I really, really hope more people read this one comment, and take it for what it is. Thank you.
@blaziermissy The statement "Be grateful for what you have" is actually good, because when we are grateful for what we have at the moment we get a pure pleasing energy that makes us happy and inspires to work on and to change the world around us, as much as to limits of our imagination :)
btw: the title of this video is wrong - Fresco's vision is *not* an utopia because it could *really* work
@shader12 I support the Venus project. I referred to that quote in reference to how we're taught to accept things as they are and to never question things or desire better.
It's ok to question "why" there is war, poverty, destruction, suffering and just "why" it's ok for some to have more than they need while others starve to death.
Being accepting of these conditions thwarts thinking.
@blaziermissy Mhm, I understand the context in which you used that phrase. The context from which I know this phrase comes from the movie "The Secret", which by the way I highly recommend :)
btw: I am also a suppoert of the Venus project. I've been for two days since I watched Future by Design :)
so is 1/2 ass efforts of people like Jacques Fresco that promoted monsters like Hydro Frac well and Geo thermal frac well that are now seen as far more polluting than coal and a health hazard ...go learn about burning drinking water and how much explosif material under the land now released into the ground... go look at the thousands that are sick... then ask your hero why he offered this to his people saying it was good when he was IGNORANT of the things i was warning you about?
the values are set in stone child and it is called the 10 commandments that 4 out of 5 people in America Obey till such evil ones tell your to make up old ones of hitlers and other evil ones all together on your TV saying "be a criminal and have a better more exiting and faster life". Jesus and others stand as examples of being humable in balance, in order, in wisdom and foresight but JF offer mistake after mistake he picks from the local news items like Hydro frac = super FAIL.
@Peterwhitlock Peter, I'm sorry you don't understand...I wish you'd attempt to do so. A RBE would erradicate the offensive behaviors you deem evil. It is not admirable to suffer through life and it never will be logical or virtuous.
People aren't born evil it is the environment that influences it. If you desire people to behave in similar ways to Christ, don't advocate a system that promotes strife, competition and hierarchy.
You'd be astounded if you'll just stop being biased.
You are too IGNORANT to know what you are saying in your blind faith in a man that is now exposed to have promoted the HYDRO GRACKING way as CLEAN and SAFE as it is now WORSE THAN COAL in pollution and million of the population are affected and billions world wide as millions scream the exact same thing I same thing 5 years ago! SO I am on the ball and Jacques fresco is now accused of offering HYDRO FRAC waters to the world in his SOLUTION!
ONLY WORLD POPULATION STOP CAN DO THAT LITTLE GIRL!
none of the problems you see would exist if the population would of stopped at any number in the past 100 years. Numbers growing force scarcity and people like you that do not get it and want children and so betray any project of anyone anywhere of any kind.
POPULATION GROWTH IS THE PROBLEM NOT MONEY EXPLOITING IT BUT they that use the conditions to eploit...merchants. But J.F. wants more people and so he is a traitor to life.
@blaziermissy Also, "You can't fight City Hall". ALL DIS-EMPOWERING BULLSHIT SLOGANS to keep us in SLAVERY! Read the RINGING CEDARS books to see why Fresco may be BULLSHIT also! Man was meant to live close to NATURE, not in DEAD skyscrapers, in DEAD cities. It makes a ton of sense to me.
@nickatnoon61 Agreed. But as far as Fresco is concerned, I disagree..he's got a sound plan..without tech to enhance our lives diseases and other harsh problems could pose a huge threat to us. Mis-use of the best of science for war & profit is our problem as well as our divisional culture values.
Fresco's design addresses these problems. Besides that, the soil and natural habitats for animals will be recovered in a RBE. If you want to live reclusive you could though but no need to go backward.
@blaziermissy I NEVER GET SICK, b/c I eat a 80-90% raw/natural foods diet! And NO DEAD ANIMALS! Most disease is caused by the individual's own mind, who has lost his power, or by the CONtrollers who create it in labs.SEE A.I.D.S., AND MANY OTHER DISEASES. TBH, I AM NOT TOO FAMILIAR WITH FRESCO, Most of the ALLOWED "leaders" tell 90% truth mixed in with 10% LIES. Is he vegetarian? Is he an ecologist? DOES HE WALK THE TALK, and do his supporters?
@nickatnoon61 Vegetarian diet is one of the only major problems Ipersonally have with what Fresco proposes. But with a RBE society, science won't be filtered through profit or people's opinion and habits; if science shows that humans are primarily plant eaters by design and it's in our best interest to eat such, that will be acknowledged. Nevertheless, people can eat what they want but a high educ and no more billion dollar profit meat indus will be shoved down our throats, no pun intended!
@blaziermissy have you heard about human error?...there is nothing wrong with dreams and good plans for the future. everything should be tested first before you lay your concusion or judgement over it..there is always a limitation on man's capability on perceiving the future, that's why man needs to cope up with his lapses--=that's the very talent man has: to adapt and change things according to his needs.
@blaziermissy i been saying this to all my friends family even strangers and they used to say we cant change it but i know i sparked there brains :) people need to grow out of this made up fantasy we living in and live by whats real this planet, us, plants, and the natural energy of life earth, wind, fire, water, and electricity. i see you are proof that more people are begging to realize this
It seems as though the system presently would not allow such progress because it couldn't allow the masses to prosper and become independent of energyy grids global syndicates profit from . There is also a greater survivablilty in these disaster resistant self contained modules were "they" would sooner see the population stay down. I like the idea of intellgent progressive expansion of accomadation for the human species in harmony with nature.
@azkeyz well maybe the cia has not done away with him because he projects what the "they" wants as well, which is, a GLOBAL economy, and i think this is actually a good step for mankind. or maybe if they did assassinate him they would actually bring a tremendous amount of attention which in itself would inform by the millions. either way, we all know so little to what is really happening. but you cannot deny that if Jacques Fresco vision came true, the world will be a much better place to live.
@TheJoker7682 The future will have no money. According to this guy, it will be a resource-based economy, where you can have whatever you want as long as you are working on something.
its not a utopia. Utopia is something perfect and unreachable... u can not build a utopia because u dont know how. none knows how... good video bad title :)

It is not a Utopia since Jacque Fresco's society is totally achievable

I wish he tried that in the Red Communes in China, where people ended up eating grass and rats or soviet agricultural "mechanization" that was a fatal disaster
f4ust85 7 months ago

That's very obvious to anyone seeing this !!

MillionthUsername 9 months ago
@MillionthUsername The clip unfortunately doesn't portray the incentives that people would have to build these things. These buildings or machines don't just "pop" into existence. It would be the result of many years of work toward automation, in a similar process that has been used to automate car factories. There are many side effects of getting rid of the monetary system and automation is only one of them. It's a deep topic and it doesn't help to focus only on automation or fancy buildings.
henrikmk 9 months ago
@henrikmk "There are many side effects of getting rid of the monetary system"
Starvation, for one. Automation is the result of continual capital re-investment and the profit/loss signals from the price system, not communist pipe dreams.
People who "get rid of " their money are not going to construct automated factories and cities. The
people who push such grossly incoherent economic fallacies are self-described "social engineers" engaged in "programming". They are ignorant of real economics.

arshdeep125 11 months ago
@arshdeep125 1 thing is certain. The current system of government/economics/industry, etc, is NOT sustainable for long term survivability of humanity. There must be a better way. I've read how under communism, there were chronic shortages of essentials, foreign to capitalism (unless you are poor). Surely e-inventory systems could alleviate that? Capitalism as a whole has less shortages, but more greed. Long term, a (democratic) resource based economy seems (interesting) the only way to go.
gjc82071 10 months ago
@arshdeep125 1 1 major problem with a resource based economy. It will NEVER happen as long as we live in a system dominated by greed, where the power belongs to the rich, who are able to influence policy & buy the government via lobbying (which the supreme court sees nothing wrong with). Basically, the rich/greedy will do whatever it takes to maintain there lifestyle & bottom line profits. There is little the masses/majority can do to change this. If they try, they'll be discredited & crushed
gjc82071 10 months ago
@gjc82071 What if the eco system collapses? I'm pretty sure that might bypass greed and power systems. What do you think?
enticed2zeitgeist 10 months ago
@enticed2zeitgeist What do you mean? Do you mean like, if there was a major (natural or unnatural) disaster, & everything broke down?
gjc82071 10 months ago
@gjc82071 No, I mean an unnatural disaster. Like peak food, peak energy, peak capitalism, permafrost methane, an increase in storms/weather etc.
enticed2zeitgeist 10 months ago
@enticed2zeitgeist I'm still not really following you. 1st off, technically, all the causes you've listed, can be construed as "UN-natural disaster", since they are brought about in some way, by man, right? I just really don't know what you meant by "what if the ecosystem collapses" & THAT bypassing greed/power. You ask what I think? I think it would increases them. The rich/powerful, greedily scrambling around to grab/control what they could. Is that what you mean, sort of?
gjc82071 10 months ago
@gjc82071 The greed/power system could be bypassed because in desperation, laws and civilized behavior evaporate. It's not money we eat, it's food, it's not money we live in, it's a home. That will all become very apparent when the systems that run that trick people into thinking money is a necessity of the system when really it just gets in the way. The power system can't function with out a strong societal belief in money.
enticed2zeitgeist 10 months ago
dear Alex Jones fan, Money is a measure of effort over time. It's entirely possible for societies to suspend "belief in money" as long as effort or pooferies like supply or demand don't matter.
Galt425 9 months ago
@Galt425 Alex Jones fan? I'm guessing that's an assumption of yours directed at me as an insult? I'm confused by your comment as well. Are you disagreeing or agreeing with me?

@Clavera Because, my friend, some of us are greedy, selfish assholes, and for some reason the most greedy selfish assholes always need to dominate others. One person can change the world to make it a better place. Infact, it's the only to make a more beautiful future for mankind. If everyone just worked on their inner peace, there would be no wars (there would be diagreements, and so there should -who wants sameness?). Being an unconditional loving human being is the highest goal in the world.
JordanPAT 1 year ago
@JordanPAT As cool and encouraging your words sound, it is completely irrelevant when dealing with... for example ... hunger. You can´t have inner peace if somebody is screwing up your hard work either. A social shift has to happen.
gasto5 1 year ago
@gasto5 It is the basis of topics such has hunger. You create your own reality. @BrunoPeitl84 You're stupid and can't write a proper sentence. Fresco's bullshit ideas are the perfect description of the word "Utopia".
Kinkoyaburi 1 year ago
@BrunoPeitl84 As I understand it, Jacque's faith is in pragmatism, living and working with the elemental principles of nature and providing means to mine all nature's talent. Utopia is believing a great future doesn't naturally organize along these lines. However, it's just one - albeit very brilliant - vision. From what I've seen, Jacque has a penetrating but congenial spirit - really enjoying hearing about this stuff.

If you desire people to behave in similar ways to Christ, don't advocate a system that promotes strife, competition and hierarchy.

nickatnoon61 1 year ago
@nickatnoon61 Agreed. But as far as Fresco is concerned, I disagree..he's got a sound plan..without tech to enhance our lives diseases and other harsh problems could pose a huge threat to us. Mis-use of the best of science for war & profit is our problem as well as our divisional culture values.
Fresco's design addresses these problems. Besides that, the soil and natural habitats for animals will be recovered in a RBE. If you want to live reclusive you could though but no need to go backward.
blaziermissy 1 year ago
DOES HE WALK THE TALK, and do his supporters?
nickatnoon61 1 year ago
