Rogers has power and is fairly fast. However, his technique, from what I've seen of him, is sloppy. Granted, I've only seen a few of his highlights, so I'm not too sure. In all those highlights he drops his hands after each punch, but since the highlights just show him finishing the fight, I don't know if that's a consistent habit for him or if he just does that when he smells blood.

Arlovski didn't come close to knocking Fedor out. If you watch the exchanges in slow motion, it's clear that Arlovski only landed a handful of punches and all of those were glancing shots. Fedor has never even been KNOCKED DOWN. The closest anyone came was a powerful hook by Fujita but Fedor clinched, recovered and then ended the fight in the same round.

Rogers has power and is fairly fast. However, his technique, from what I've seen of him, is sloppy. Granted, I've only seen a few of his highlights, so I'm not too sure. In all those highlights he drops his hands after each punch, but since the highlights just show him finishing the fight, I don't know if that's a consistent habit for him or if he just does that when he smells blood.

idk about standing, Brett for a big guys punches very hard and surprizingly fast. But i definately think Fedor will destroy him on the ground and in the clinch. Fedor is extremely smart and composed fight. Brett is extemely strong hitter and confident. I hope fedor doesnt catch one on the jaw. I like both these fighters alot they both have great attitudes and both modest men. I havent seen Bretts ground game yet, but i have seen him avoid take downs. This should be a good fight

people are going to underestimate him of course, nobody is going to give the "Fat Black Guy" a chance but I think Rogers will surprise a lot of people, I don't know if he will win but he is going to be a TOUGH match up for Fedor

Arlovski didn't come close to knocking Fedor out. If you watch the exchanges in slow motion, it's clear that Arlovski only landed a handful of punches and all of those were glancing shots. Fedor has never even been KNOCKED DOWN. The closest anyone came was a powerful hook by Fujita but Fedor clinched, recovered and then ended the fight in the same round.

Im a slightly kind of Fedor hater, because of his lack of logic while negotiating with the UFC and bad management team, and I kind of think that he's afraid of the competition and he wants to keep a clean record before retiring...
but, rogers stands a 1% chance only... Fedor is way too much for Rogers, Rogers has Solid heavy punches only, he's slow, immature, unexperienced, no groundgame, and will be so predictable for fedor, while fedor is more faster and more explosive with all the qualities.

Haha people get a grip and go take a look at the replays of Fedor/Arlovski. Arlovski barely got any punches on target. He just managed to push him to the corner.
And Brett Rogers has slim to non chances of beating Fedor.

I think it will be closer than people think. Fedor was hit a lot by arvloski. Fedor just hits hard and can take a lot of punches. Rogers has more power than his recent competition.
It will be whoever connects big first and it wont go past the first round.

This guy is slow and I can imagine he is weak on the ground. I already feel sorry for this guy. Fedor is going to tear him limb from limb. If i was a millionaire i would not bet a single penny on him. The only good thing for him is that it is going to be really fast. I imagine a fast flurry of blows, the fight goes down and then a choke or a lock. Something very similar to what happened to Tim Silvia.
