  • If you like the sound of the singing bowls I recommend you the musical genre of 'drone ambient'. Try listening to a track called 'Wrota Sfer' by 'Troum'. You should also give 'Maeror Tri' a try, they're both great performers of their genre.

  • Too bad you can't put a YouTube video on repeat; I could listen to this clip over and over and over again, it sounds like home and so peaceful..

Thankyou very much for the post!

  • download audacity, u can record the audio of this video

  • @mylighthouse10 If you have iPod touch or iPhone there is App called WhiteNoise and it has the Tibetan Singing bell you can play for hours!!

  • @UNSUNGBAND too bad i don't have either, but thankyou anyway! :)

  • @mylighthouse10 You can. Just add "repeater" between "youtube" and ".com"

  • @panmroku0 oh! thankyou! :)

  • @mylighthouse10 I really hope you have the ability to download google chrome. Youtube with *google chrorme* will give you an auto replay option (repeat) underneath the video on the right hand side. I use repeat for my meditation chants and music.

  • @mylighthouse10 Actually you can now, request it to the owner of the video, apparently if you add a 0.1 second pause at the very end of the video it will repeat itself over and over.

  • @mylighthouse10 Have someone do that in your ear . . .It's annoying! NOT peaceful!

  • @mylighthouse10 put &loop=1&autoplay=1 at the end of any youtube videos html and itll loop the video

  • @mylighthouse10 In the URL type "repeat" after the word youtube and before the . =]

  • @mylighthouse10 actually there's a site that does it for you; just add 'repeat' right before .com on the url

  • @mylighthouse10 How??? It's so highpitched it hurts my head. xD

  • thank you for posting

  • thank you for this AWESOME display of all the different kinds. I've never seen a video like it before. Lots of bang for the buck in this video. Great Great job and thank you again.

  • Thanking you for being YOU and the post...!

  • The second guy looks like robert dinero lol

  • hahah so true

  • wicked video but the bowl at 1:09 looks more like a tibetan bowl not a nepalese bowl.

  • I have a disc called Tibetan Bells to which I follow my reiki self healing with it. very hypnotic :)

  • one of my hs teachers showed us this and the sound it made was amazing,

looked just tlike the one at :58-1:17

    it sounded so cool,

I was in like a transe the whole time he was playing it

  • they have these at lake shrine where I volunteer

  • I just bought my first singing bowl, it's hand made from Nepal. I can't say whether it's high quality or not, but I love it none the less.

I just can't believe they exist, it's incredible. The sound they make is so mesmerizing.

  • oh my god, i know this old man!!!!

  • that is cool!

  • this is my nepal

  • Belo!

  • this is amazing.

  • I was just playing about an 8" singing bowl! They are really interesting and you wouldn't think so at first but quite a work out for your arms!

  • What's most interesting is that the significance of the singing bowl in Buddhism is similar to the significance given to the Shankh (conch shell) in Hinduism. They both symbolize vibrations -- the central celestial vibration that reverberates throughout the universe.

This is why meditations involving the chanting of 'Aum' is so important to the meditative religions of India/Tibet.

    Great stuff!

  • For those wishing to visit Kiratdesh(now Nepal) please
