Born and raised there. As kids we used to camp (tresspass) at Runkles Ranch. My mother used to take us hiking in the Santa Susana pass (Simi side) and she took pictures of the area through the Simi side of the Santa Susana pass for years, with or without us.

She died of lung cancer after years of battling the disease in 1980, even though no one in our family smoked.

@SickBoyZap5 I used to walk my dogs there as a teen and got chased out,on numerous ocasions!!!! I wonder how much radiation I or anyone else was exposed to!!!!akes you wonder?!
