You got most of it...id suggest using a metrognome or a backing track to keep you in time a bit better.
as for you sound, well you really need a slight crunch on your amp/ pedal.
The chorus when you say 18 you play a G, then when it says balding you play a single A chord gently.
Keep practicing and post another cover soon.
